Udi's Gluten Free Frozen White Bread - 18oz

One of the worst gluten free breads I've had. Falls apart on contact and coagulates into a gummy subtance when chewed. A throwback to the GF breads of 25 years ago at the inception of Celiac.

It’s GF bread. It all tastes the same. Palatable only when toasted.

It’s bad enough to be gluten-free against our choice, being celiac, but then to have bread that you cannot use for French toast, that you cannot use to make croutons, that you cannot use for a sandwich because it falls apart in your hand, it just adds insults to injury. This bread is extraordinarily expensive with terrible texture, gummy, and gluey and crumbly. I can’t even tell you what the taste was because I was so disgusted by the texture. I’ve been buying this bread for years and it’s been going steadily downhill. At this point, I’ll have to look for a completely new brand. It did toast decently well, but despite the outside being crisp and golden, after being toasted, the inside of each slice was still gummy and Unpleasant. There are better gluten free brands out there. For this high price, I feel angry and disgusted.

Tastes good

Dry and tasteless. Difficult to eat and there's no joy in eating it. I would rather have no bread at all.

I did a drive up pick up order. The bread arrived frozen. The directions say thaw & serve. After leaving it to thaw overnight the crust and connecting middle parts are hard. How can I feed this to my child?

I’ve been eating UDI’S for 10 years and every so often they come out with a new and “improved” bread recipe, which is like why? This latest update has made the bread incredibly FRAIL and a miracle to get it out of the package w/o it breaking on its way to the toaster. UDI’S Can you please fix your recipe so I’m not taking sandwiches to work with half of the bread missing?? Thanks

I would give this bread a negative 0 if I could. Why is this bread so high in calorie and tastes like cardboard? Target used to have a great selection of gluten free bread. I don’t know what happened.

I don't really like to leave negative reviews on anything, but I can't see myself leaving anything higher than two stars on this loaf. After thawing, the center of almost every slice was stuck together, and the top crust separated from each piece. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel that's the best part of a toasted slice of bread. Flavor and texture are fine, but the fragile nature of the bread is a pass for me.

It is compact, soft and good taste! I like it

The bread fell apart easily and had a dessert type taste almost like a slight cinnamon. Not exactly sure how to describe it! I use to be able to eat gluten until recently, this was OK but I would not buy it again. Crust also tasted funky to me so I felt like I wasted my money as I was taking off the crust

I really did like how the slices were bigger than the other gluten free bread options I've had however I didnt like how if you slightly pressed a little too hard on the bread, it would just rip and crumble and fall apart. Made making sandwiches hard. The taste was okay but weird texture.

The slices are bigger than usual GF bread but the texture is so weird like memory foam. It doesn’t taste good toasted or cold/room temp. The whole grain one from this brand is really good just not the white “bread”

Not one of the best GF breads I have tried. Extremly dry, and not good at all. For the price of $6, it's a no.

It’s a hit or miss when you buy this bread sometimes it’s baked well sometimes it’s super dry and can’t be saved. As a person with celiac disease my options are limited I’ve gotten used to this type of texture. If you don’t have to be gluten free then stick with your “normal” everyday bread other wise for us with celiac disease it’s a good replacement option until something better comes along. Taste better toasted.

First time trying Udi’s GF white bread and it will be the last. Made a PB&J and it was like eating cardboard. Tasteless, dry and very disappointing. Udi’s hamburger buns are delicious. They missed the mark on their white bread.

It's nice when you toast it and put things on it but thats it.

It’s very dry and crumbs Get all over when you eat it it doesn’t really have a taste. It’s not the worst. But it’s not the best I would say there are better gluten-free breads at the same price if not less so save your money on this one

Tough bread, falls apart, tastes like paper

It tastes good. I have it in the freezer and then take out the bread and toast it for my sandwich. Once thawed the bread does last too long.
