Rao’s Homemade meat lasagna is a hearty, great tasting meal without day long effort. The consistency is perfect - not too dry but not too much sauce either.

DELICIOUS
I purchased Raos lasagna for the first time a few weeks ago. I've tried the marinara sauce a few times and found it to be very good. Once I baked the lasagna (in the oven) it finished within the time and temp as indicated in the instructions. Followed all the instructions and the dish was flawless. It was full of meat sauce and cheese. Not overwhelmed with noodles and sauce like all other frozen dishes I've had and rivaled any restaurant lasagna I've had It has renewed my taste for lasagna. I will definitely purchase again regardless if it's on sale.

Unhappy results
We found this lasagna dry, very little taste, and not enough sauce. We were really disappointed because the sauce Raos produces is usually very good. Will not purchase again.

By Far, The Best Frozen Lasagna!
I don’t know if the people that low rate this lasagna have even tried it. It is absolutely fantastic! I tried both cooking methods, and the oven is by far the best. You get crispy edges etc. And to take it further, after the 60 minute cook @ 375 (27oz), I put it under the broiler for about a minute and let the cheese brown a little. Then I pulled it and grated parmigiano reggiano on top. Back under the broiler until melted. Let rest, and you’re ready to cut and serve! Delicious!

Needs more sauce
I recently bought Rao’s made for home meat lasagna and I was a little disappointed. I really felt it needed more sauce. I buy your jars of sauce quite often and like them, so it surprised me that you were skimpy on the sauce on the frozen meat lasagna

While I must say, I make an extraordinary homemade lasagna, I find Rao's Meat Lasagna quite delicious. And so easy for a quick weeknight dinner. I read a review several months ago and skeptically tried it...and I was super,, pleasantly, surprised. I have since purchased this Rao's Meat Lasagna several times and I keep the family size and single size in my freezer for when I need a yummy quick meal, along with a homemade Caesar salad, and bread. My husband loves it too.

Lopsided Lasagna
When distributed properly, all the ingredients come together to make a pretty enjoyable product. Unfortunately the last two I have purchased lack this distribution. One side had nearly no sauce and all the ricotta and the other had a lot of sauce and nearly no ricotta. The noodles were seemingly sporadic spaced as well. Really wanted to love this as much as I enjoy the sauces, but I simply cannot due to the inconsistencies.

Love this
Bought this yesterday and had it tonight with a green salad. It’s the best frozen lasagne I’ve ever had. The small box was a perfect serving for me. I like that there are no preservatives or artificial dyes. I’ve seen some reviews claim it’s dry. I did not think so. I will definitely be buying this again.

This lasagna is incredible. The best ricotta cheese, delicious beef, and amazing sauce. This lasagna tastes just like my family's, which has owned Italian restaurants for generations in New York and Italy. I wish the portions were bigger.

No Preservatives, artificial colorings or flavors
Ever since my BC diagnosis, I have been diligent about I put into my body. When I saw the ingredient list I was able to pronounce every word and knew what they all were. I am grateful for finding you at my local grocery store. I am only buying Rao's hereafter. Thank you. Delicious also, BTW

I've been purchasing for several months. One of my favorite meals. Have you considered making a spaghetti and meat sauce? Also, a meatloaf? I rarely cook and use your meals and Michael Angelo meals almost exclusively.

Disappointed
Really looked forward to trying my first Rao’s product. Was really disappointed with the frozen lasagna. While the overall taste was good, there was barely any tomato sauce and the ricotta filling was extremely dry and grainy. This could be a really good lasagna if there was more sauce to help with the dry filling. For the price, I would NOT buy it again.
