They’re a good source of vitamin C and have no added preservatives. Enjoy with herbs and butter for a mouthwatering side dish.DirectionsNeeds to be fully cooked. Keep frozen until ready to prepare.For food safety, cook to 165°F until hot throughout. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking time accordingly.Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.MicrowaveDo not puncture or open before microwaving.1. Place unopened bag THIS SIDE UP in microwave oven.  Evenly distribute vegetables inside. 2. Microwave on HIGH for 4 1/2 minutes or until hot.**3. Let stand 1 minute.  Bag will be hot; lift from corners.  Open carefully. **Directions developed for 1100 watt microwave ovens. Cooking in ovens of lower watts will require additional time.Stovetop1. I eat these by steaming them in the microwave; well, I should say, I USED TO BE ABLE TO. Bags are never properly sealed anymore!!! During my last visit to Target, out of 20 bags in the fridge, 4 had rips. The 16 I took home started unsealing, too, just by sitting in my freezer!!!! I can no longer buy these as a drive-up item because of this sealing issue, and having to spend 20 mins in a Target freezer, inspecting each bag in an attempt to find bags that do not have holes in them only to come home and still find bags with holes in them is maddening. I will be switching to Greenwise organic green beans from now on.

Green beans are the one veggie we eat regularly that makes everyone happy. I’ve gone through so many brands. This is by FAR my favorite. I buy at least 4 at a time. Steam in bag, drain the juice, add some butter and seasoning. These with some Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning is so delish.

Lots of Pieces

The package says “whole green beans.” I found that half of the bag was pieces, not whole beans. That was fine for my needs (smashing them to make baby food), but if I needed them to be whole, I would have been very annoyed. It wouldn’t be a problem if the bag didn’t say whole beans.
