Not whole at all
Just bought 7 cans expecting the beans to be whole like the can says and also pictured, very few were whole, most of them were broken and Unusable for my recipe. This is the second time I have experienced this ,

A pantry staple!
We pretty much always have these in the pantry. My chihuahua ate them for years and years. I like the fact that they offer a "no salt added" version.

Shrinkflation in action
I just opened a can of green beans to find mostly water and a single serving of green beans. I remember as a child we would serve a family of 3 on the contents of 1 can and use 2 at holidays. I love the taste of these beans, but the deception of the consumer is so sad.

Disappointed again!
Del Monte whole green beans are some of the best tasting out there but this is not the 6th can that I buy that is very much underweight of the product notes in the label! I’ve purchased these for years and just recently have run into this problem. Quality control is not doing their job!

Best All Around
I have read some of the reviews and I do not agree. Every can I have opened has been high quality and filled to the max. I love whole green beans and Del Monte cans the best quality.

Taste and texture are really good
I am really impressed with this product, the green beans looked good, tasted good and the texture was good. I am so used to every brand of canned green beans being mushy and tasteless that I was genuinely surprissed at how much I really liked these.

Whole beans. ?? Definitely not!
Recently bought 10 cans of 'whole' beans for a family dinner, I was hard pressed to get one can if whole beans! Everything was bits, pieces and even Stems!

Quality control missed this one!
I buy several cans of Delmonte Whole green beans every few weeks. I like the product so I don’t mind paying a bit more for it. The last several months I’ve found stems in one out of three cans. Not thrilled about it but I can deal with it. However the last cans I bought were stem free but one was almost bean free too! Do I need to find a new brand?

Poor Quality Control
This is the third can I have used that appears to have less than advertised whole green beans so I took the time to weigh these. 5.5 oz in a 14.5 oz can…The whole beans are hard to find, but are as good as fresh picked. I hope this is a quality error.

Cans with half beans and half water
I have been buying Del Monte Whole Green beans for YEARS! This is the only canned green beans that I can get to taste close to fresh. I don't like frozen ones. I normally buy 6 to 8 cans per month, I cook 2 cans at a time. Lately I have been getting one good can full of beans, and one can that is half water. What is going on? Are you having packing problems? I tried the store brand, YUCK, just not the same. I am just wondering what in the world is going on? Why the change in packing? Is it just me or have others noticed the same thing. I will say that I will continue to buy the product, because it is good. I can season the beans and they taste amazing. I just don't want to have to use 3 cans to get a good amount of beans for dinner. Thank you.

Stems in Every Can!
I bought a case of Del Monte Green beans and I’ve yet to open a can without stems in them. Tonight was the worst experience so far with a long huge stem in the can. What happened with this brand? It used to have quality products but not any more. Next time I buy canned veggies, I will NOT buy Del Monte.

average quality at a premium price
I opened two cans of these green beans tonight and one was half liquid, and the other had stems in it. I pay more to get a better product. I feel ripped off.

Auwugggg!
I have bought Delmonte green beans seems like forever. But I can no longer deny a lacking on quality control from these products. I'm finding numerous stems, husk, minimal beans and a over addition of water. "Show me Choking On Stems"

Paying for stems
I have always loved the whole green beans but the quality is no longer good. Tough strings on beans with many stems mixed in.

More water than beans
I bought 3 cans of green beans on 1/12/2024. I was trying to feed 4 people. I open each cab to only discovered it was filled with more water than ever. Only 2 people were able to get a serving. Your can is all water with a very few beans now.

Mostly water
I was raised on delmonte this is the only brand good I buy, I don't know what's going on buy lately the cans have been mostly water with hardly any veggies and for the price I pay I shouldn't have to worry if I'm buying water or veggies. Maybe I should rethink buying this product.

Green Beans
I have always bought Del Monte green beans loved them. However, the quality has gone way downhill and now you get tons of stems in each can everyone in the family has complained about it. I will have to start buying a different brand very disappointed.

Very disappointed in declining quality!
My mother always bought Del Monte green beans, and I've always bought Del Monte green beans...that's many decades of loyalty because of the quality and taste we came to rely on. Somehow the last three years' decline in our culture have become an excuse for cutting corners...stems left on, bad quality beans remain in the can, and now so many strings that you can't eat them in public. I literally choked on the strings and had to force myself to cough them out twice eating from the two cans I made together yesterday. I had to spit the strings out because I can't chew them. Would I want to serve these to guests? No, I would be embarrassed. In addition, they were not crisp and firm like they usually are, but rather they were mushy in texture. Tell me why I should pay a premium price for this lack of quality and proper processing?

Great for a canned bean.
Strain and heat for a meal or pop the can and eat with a fork for a snack. The next best thing to fresh beans. Del Monte are one of the best canned green beans available.
