Best thing ever to add to your soups for extra vitamins and minerals, and nobody even notices!
I love this product because the chopped spinach comes in little frozen balls. I just take out as many as I want and throw them in some soup or other dish/dip. The spinach is chopped so very small and find , nobody even tastes it but yet we’re getting the benefit from it! I hope they never change this product. PS - I never steam any of these steam in the bag products in the microwave with the plastic. Nope! Just because it says steam in the bag, you certainly don’t have to. Just let it thaw.

Like other reviewers said, this is no longer frozen leaves of spinach as pictured on the bag. They have changed it and it is now solid pellets. Not sure if we’re all getting bad batches or if they changed it without disclosing it.

Worst consistency in chopped spinach
This product isn't chopped spinach. It is pulverized sludge. It comes out of the package in little round shaped balls. When cooked, it becomes an unrecognizable and tasteless goop which is absolutely awful.

Zero stars. First stop selling organic frozen cauliflower. Now what used to be roughly chopped spinach is now essentially baby food. 1” logs/pellets of teeny tiny minced spinach. Ridiculous. I think trying to force you to not NOT buy frozen unadulterated organic vegetables so they have excuse to stop selling even more healthy foods

OK for adding to soups; skip it for "chopped" spinach
I use this to add to small batches of veggie soups, 2 to 4 cubes at a time, approx 1 cube per serving. Nice that it comes in cubes instead of a solid chunk, makes it easier to portion out and put back in the freezer. It's chopped way too fine to use in recipes calling for "chopped" spinach, but works just fine for soups.
