Frozen Organic Edamame - 10oz - Good & Gather™

Taste is too nutty and tough, more like a sunflower seed. Won’t buy again.

It was so dry. I’m not even sure why I picked up the organic one. I should stick with the regular one.

We found a dead, frozen caterpillar inside one of the edamame pods after cooking it! Yuck! Luckily we saw it before any one ate it. We have gotten these many times but not sure if we will be buying them again. Eww!

I don’t like to microwave stuff in plastic so I cooked these on stovetop in water. Gave it an extra minute or two then drained them. They were… edamame. Not dry like others said (boiled in water so not possible), don’t know if the pods were stringy cuz you don’t eat them and to get the beans out of the pod you kinda squeeze the pod so stringy or not it shouldn’t matter (and Barely any pressure to pop them out). My 3 year old son had fun popping them out and even ate quite a few (and he’s pretty picky). I’m not sure about the review with the “blob”, that’s pretty gross and definitely needed to be brought to Target’s attention, but weird stuff like that can happen at pretty much any kind of processing plant where a human is involved….as far as brown dots on the skin or brown skin, that didn’t happen to me, but I guess as long as the beans inside the pod were fine. I wouldn’t really care. Organic foods often look less than perfect… I will definitely be buying again, I think they’re a good deal on an organic plant protein that’s tasty :-)

I opened the bag to dump into boiling water, and this disgusting frozen blob came out. What is this? The other bag that I purchased did not have this, I’m genuinely concerned about what it is, and for anyone who may just be microwaving these and eating them without seeing all the contents before it all melts together. I will never purchase this item from Target again.

They were dried out and many had brown dots on them like they were spoiled. I eat edamame pretty often and I otherwise love Target’s Good & Gather groceries that I have tried.

They smelled & looked like they cooked up perfectly, then started eating them & discovered the soybeans are really dry. Never had that happen before with any other brand. I'll be sticking with Seapoint Farms from now on.

Maybe it was a bad bag, but several of the pieces were brown, making me think that they were old before they were frozen. I would give it another try though.

I threw these in the microwave. Super easy to make, and not as watery as other frozen vegetables get when defrosted. It actually smelled kind of good too. I don’t usually love edemama but this was pretty good! Sprinkled some salt and that was it! Bag was a bit small though. I received an incentive to write this review.

I had never had these before. I enjoyed them, but only after peeling them. I'm not sure if people eat the outside also. I don't think I'll purchase these again, just because there are other beans I'd rather have. But the prep is conventionally easy.

My husband and I decided to make a sushi dinner at home. So, I bought this edamame from Target to have as an appetizer. It was easy to make and super quick. I added some course sea salt just like in the restaurants. It was delicious and made the sushi dinner night complete! I received an incentive to write this review.

The edamame was super easy to prepare and taste it just like it would in an Asian restaurant. I use the microwave to prepare them and they all came out stained and soft. I will say that it did leak a bit when taking it out the microwave but other than that I would definitely get this again. I received an incentive to write this review.

I love this brand! You get organic vegetables that are ready to go in minutes and just steam in the bag for a really good price. There are no preservatives either which is really important to me. I’m trying to limit additives and extra ingredients so this is perfect. I received an incentive to write this review.
