    Luxury? Or Dove?

    This is a pretty good one for Dove! Lathers nicely and smells amazing. You get a lot for your money, the bottle is a good size. Creamy consistency and smells heavenly. Almost feels like a luxury product and not Dove. Well done!!

    Tried and true. The only one I use.

    Simple, lasting burst of lavender, cleans well and doesn’t leave a film on the skin or dry it out. The only body wash I buy and I always have the big bottle in my bathroom.

    Confusing packaging!

    The packaging is so confusing! I was in a hurry in the store, so I grabbed this bottle (thinking it was lotion). Who decided putting “LOTION” in a larger, purple font right above “BODY WASH” in a smaller, gray font was a good idea!? As well as a picture of lotion on the bottle that looks nothing like the actually soap?! I feel silly for not noticing, but the packaging draws your eyes away from the key detail that it is, indeed, soap. Disappointing, because this was supposed to be my first time trying Dove lotion (other brands can be prohibitively expensive and I have very dry skin). Don’t think I’ll be switching over to a regular Dove user after this. As a customer, I want to be able to look at a bottle and know what the product is. Please stop putting “body wash,” “shampoo,” “lotion,” etc. in teeny, tiny font at the bottom, before I have to buy reading glasses just to go shopping. As for the soap, it’s fine. It does its job and I like the smell. The texture is very strange, however. I feel like I’m rubbing slime made out of kids craft glue on my skin. Not so noticeable in the shower, but unpleasant to have smeared on your naked body as you squint at the bottle trying to understand why your “lotion” isn’t working.

    Poor Bottle Design

    I love the fragrance and feel of this body wash, but how can I continue to buy it with the poor dispenser design? Is it on purpose that the dispenser straw is much shorter than the bottom of the container? There are 2-3 inches of soap left that I cannot use due to the dispenser design. I have to think this is on purpose, so I’ll have to buy another bottle. In this economy, why would I?

    Wonderful formula!

    I really love this body wash, I will always repurchase. I know lavender is hit or miss with everyone, but relaxation is the goal here and I love the herbal smell, so calming after a long day! I also love that this formula has a built in hydration lotion so it helps keep my skin soft the day after. Also, lathers so well I get a really nice balanced wash. Overall, my favorite formula. Pump is perfect too. If you love anything herbal and soothing you'll love this. Perfect! ❤️😊

    Please tell us to shake before each use.

    I have been using this product for 2 years. I have purchased it at least a half dozen times. Each time it starts out thick and rich but as the bottle is depleted it becomes thin, runny and most importantly less lathery. This time, I decided to shake the bottle vigorously before each use. Lo and behold it has been consistent through the entire bottle. Perhaps this is obvious. However, nowhere on the bottle (I can send photo if you like) does it say shake before using. Perhaps you can consider adding this somewhere on the bottle? Maybe it will result in more repeat purchases?
