Price discrepancy!!! we are being charged to incorrect amount!
I received this by accident for a delivery order and according to my online target account, this chicken was $3.99 per pound, and I received 3.69 pounds- In actuality, the chicken was $4.99 per pound and I received 2.95 pounds. So that means there is a price of discrepancy between buying it online and buying it in the store. They’re telling you it’s cheap cheaper online but in reality you’re paying more. The system is just looking at the price sticker and making up numbers for how many pounds you got to match the price sticker. It’s not OK to think that you’re paying $3.99 per pound for chicken, get a receipt that says you’re paying $3.99 per pound for chicken and in reality you’re paying $4.99 per pound. I always order the Max packs. I would never pay five dollars per pound for chicken now I’m going to have to check the weights when I receive my meat. I’m pretty sure this is not legal. It’s certainly not right. The quality of this meat has also declined. I have gotten some woody breasts lately that were literally inedible.

This was so bad. Look up “wooden chicken”. This is what’s being given to us, and it’s awful. The past few months, all the chicken from Target has been almost CRUNCHY and rubbery in texture. It’s absolutely disgusting.

These are unnaturally large and require extra cooking time. The texture is fibrous and unpleasant. These did not come from happy, healthy chickens.
