Q: What is a mounting plate?

submitted by I LIKE CHEESE - 2 years ago

  • A: The mounting plate is not included in the toy. My daughter is very sad and disappointed. (It's not that it was a missing part - Our Generation simply does not include the mounting plate.)

submitted byMary - 2 years ago

  • A: Hi I LIKE CHEESE. The mounting plate is the part that mounts to the bike and doll seat. The Battat Team

Q: Is a mounting plate something I can buy if the kids bike doesn't have one? Or is a mounting plate something that is already built into the bicycle? So if the bike doesn't have a mounting plate, I would have to buy one that does in order to use this?

submitted by alishacas - 2 years ago

  • A: Yeah but what an unexpected hassle. What "Our Generation bike" is The Battat Team talking about? When I search for it, I don't see any.

submitted byMary - 2 years ago

  • A: Hi alishacas. If your bike is shaped similarly to the Our Generation bike, you will not need an additional mounting plate. If shaped differently, you will need an additional mounting plate which you can purchase at a Bike Supply store based on the model. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: Will it fit in Kent bicycle 18inch

submitted by Anh - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi Anh. The OG Doll Bike Seat will fit on a variety of bikes that have an A shape where the connection goes. Please visit the OG site to see photos of how it has been attached on the OG bike. We do not have individual knowledge of brands of bikes and cannot guarantee compatibility. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: Will this mount to a scooter?

submitted by Paige - 2 years ago

  • A: Hi Paige. The OG Seat Carrier is made to be mounted on a bike only and not a scooter. The Battat Team

This was cute. Kind of wobbly when installed. Had the bike in a bike rack on back of the car and the seat blew off, the metal bar stayed but the seat …. Gone :( If you buy Adam extra screw or a way to really secure it.

    Cute but needs more colors!

This is such an adorable accessory and a great way to bring along dolls on outdoor adventures. Our son and daughter both have dolls and now both have bicycle seats. It would be great if this also came in gray, blue, green, white, etc!

    Weird mount

Doesn’t mount to any of our bikes :-/ Even if it did have a plate to mount to I don’t think I would want to put a hole in a bike just for a doll seat

It’s super cute and I love that it comes with a helmet. It was my fault I didn’t read the reviews and product description. Couldn’t use due to the lack of a mounting plate. I don’t know that it would be possible, but it would be great if it could be designed as more of a universal fit. I do see where reviews say it’s not the sturdiest, which I could see from the design of it.
