Guests are saying
This heavy whipping cream has garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many appreciating its organic nature and clean ingredients. However, concerns about clumping, spoilage, and the addition of gellan gum have been frequently mentioned. Guests enjoy using it in coffee and recipes, but some have experienced issues with consistency and freshness. Overall, it offers a healthier alternative for those seeking fewer additives, but quality control seems to be a concern.

Clumpy
This is always clumpy and my most recent bottle had a solid mass that took up about 1/3 the container.

Clumpy
Used to love this product, but it’s been too clumpy as of late. Doesn’t whip up great, and I wind up wasting a lot since it’s in clumps.

Do not buy
They need to stop selling this cream or get a new supplier. There's gelatin in it and it coagulated at the top. It wouldn't move. I dug it out with a butter knife and put it in a bowl along with the rest of the liquid and tried to whisk it together (I needed it for a recipe!). It wouldn't blend. Never seen anything like it - look at the rest of the reviews, I'm not the only one. At least they gave me my money back.

I do not usually write reviews, but the clumping of guar gum in this whipping cream is ridiculous. And for the price charged for this product, even more so.

Do NOT Buy this ####
I bought it in store only because the cheapest heavy whipping cream was unavailable. Texture was clumpy. I wanted to make whipped cream by hand whisking and it turned into BUTTER before even turning into whipped cream. On top of that it didn't even separate properly, when I whisked more and more the butter stopped separating from the whey and at some point it was just a whey + cream texture that couldn't separate from each other. So it left me with a form of butter that hasn't even been whisked properly.

Not homogeneous
The cream tastes fine but it was separated into a thinner milk part and thick globs of cream. It was extremely difficult to get it mixed. In fact I never really did get it completely smooth. I just used it in my recipe with small globs of cream in it.

Every day in my coffee with no chemicals
No carrageenan, polysorbate 80, just gum which I’ll accept, the gum does harden sometimes but it really makes my homemade coffee next level! I used mct powder and this and I can even add a dash of moringa without it being too bitter. I recommend it over the leading cream filled with chemicals and inflammatory compounds.

Fat clumps together, used to not....
Used to be all liquid and now every time I buy these and try to use them the fat is all clumped together. Disappointing because the ingredients are better but I can’t use it for certain recipes. I hope they fix whatever is causing this so I can buy it again.

Perfectly fine! Not curdled, people!
This heavy cream is perfectly fine! Disregard those who don't research/don't have enough life experience. Wish I could leave more five stars reviews to counteract the negative reviews. I shook the bottle, tried to pour it in my coffee, but the butter fat was clumped at the top. I used a butter knife in the bottle, too break up the clump and stir it. I could then pour it into my tea, but it was still in small clumps. I smelled the bottle; absolutely no spoiled smell. I licked the butter knife; absolutely no spoiled taste. The clumps melted right away in my hot tea. No clumps of reassembled 15 minutes later in the same cup of tea. Butterfat, a natural component of cream, rises to the top and somewhat solidifies when the bottle sits for a while and it's cold. This is completely natural. Some other brands prevent this clumping by adding polysorbate 80, carrageenan, mono- and diglycerides, and/or gums. Some research has shown these to worsen gut inflammation, microbiome disruption, and metabolic changes. In comparison, some research has shown gellan gum is widely considered safe, non-toxic, and has very few health concerns. Those other additives are GRAS (generally considered as safe) by FDA. However, as somebody with a GI condition, I'd much much much rather play it safe with what I put in my body.

I’m very disappointed in this whipping cream because it usually comes with a huge ball of solid cream (almost butter!)

Clumpy
I’ve repurchased this a few times since it’s more affordable than brand name but it’s always chunky and mostly butter when I open it. Is the gum thickener clotting up or is it being shaken up during transit? It’s also not great for homemade whipped cream, it’s too thin and the whipped cream is sort of limp. I primarily use it in coffee but I have to strain it so the clumps don’t splash.

This was in the store with an expiration date of 2/6/26. I bought it not knowing and when I opened it it was chunky and smelled spoiled. Not happy with Target not checking the dates
