My first initial impression was that I could immediately see the healthy food inside the bag for my dogs. The food is fully cooked and ready to serve, and is not packed with fillers. The ingredients are ones a human would eat! With chicken, turkey, eggs, cranberries, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, spinach, and other healthy ingredients, I feel good giving them this product. It is a 1 lb. bag that I got a Walmart for $8.97 and I will continue to purchase this item, knowing that it is good for my dogs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this as a topper to their normal dog chow and they loved it. My bigger black dog Winnie ate everything! Topper and dog chow. My pug picked all the fresh pet out and left her dog chow for later. I would recommend! It looks and smells good. My dogs loved it! Healthy ingredients. I had a hard time finding it though, my Walmart has been out for weeks, so I traveled to another Walmart today and found it.

It has a zip seal closure which is great for storing and it does keep the food fresh in the refrigerator without drying out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying to find ways to incorporate more Whole Foods into my dog’s kibble diet and this is a great high protein meal supplement. From the first time we tried it out, my dog licked her bowl clean and has kept sniffing at the fridge asking for a second helping 😂. The packaging is pretty minimalistic which makes it easy and convenient to store in the fridge too

The texture looks fresh and soft and not overly processed in my dog. Finished his bowl without hesitation.. He sometimes a picky eater, but he gobbled to this right up no problem.

Otherwise, the food looks fresh. It is kept in refrigerator. It has good ingredients and is enough for a few meals for a small dog.

It was resealable which keeps it fresh versus having to pack it into an air tight container after opening. It held together nicely and wasn’t mushy so was easy to plate for him. Highly recommend!

The dog loves it, and gotta make sure everyone in the house knows it’s for the dog, and not for them. Was hard to get a photo of her eating it because she was nose in the bowl. Great as a safe topper for dogs to get some real protein and food without adding the bad stuff

They are picky so I’m surprised they ate this one. I do wish it didn’t have to be gone by a week but they do finish it. I would get again especially for picky dogs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In all honesty my dog doesn't take kindly to new foods but this Freshpet was definitely a crowd pleaser with him! He ate it up within seconds of me pouring it in his bowl. The quantity could be better because it's a tad expensive but on the other hand I feel so much better knowing the clean ingredients in this. Overall he loves it which means I love it :)

I loved how the bag had a zipper to seal it back so it stays fresh. It was super easy on my dogs belly and that's a major plus! We will continue to buy this and im pretty sure my dog will be thrilled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pups have been eating the same Kibble with an occasional treat/topper since they were one year old. This is our first time trying “fresh” pet food. They smelled the product in the bag as soon as I came in from the store. Normally they won’t eat their kibble until after we have gone to bed for the night even though I serve it to them in the early evening. We have joked that they want to wait and make sure that nothing better is being served before they fill up on the same old stuff. After they discovered the fresh pet food was in the house, it was torture for me to make them wait until feeding time. They were lurking around me giving me the ‘eye’. I set the bag out unopened at first to see if they really were anxious for the food, and yes they were! (Hence the basket of laundry in the background of the photos..I had to stop and feed them) Upon opening the bag I could see exactly what ingredients were in the food. The egg, the ”craisans”, carrots, meat it was all right there and clearly visible. It reminded me of a breakfast scramble that I would make for my human family members. I only added 2/3 of a cup to half of their normal kibble and they both ate together until it was ALL gone. I will have to wait until they eat again tomorrow and after we see how they do with this food before I can say if it’s something I would buy to add to their kibble on a regular basis. The Fresh Pet food is not overpriced and I like knowing that my pups are being fed healthy food that is made with fresh, REAL and high quality ingredients. My pets are my family. My only suggestion is that I would like to see a blend that contains pumpkin and only a few other ingredients for pets (like one of my own) who often have digestive issues. Something for sensitive skin and stomachs.

The only thing is with three dogs it will be a little expensive to feed them this everyday. So i think they will get it as a special treat once a week. This is the second Fresh Pet product we tried and 5 stars for both.

I like how it has sweet potatoes and cranberries in it. I like how you can seal it and reuse as needed. It’s a little pricey, but it makes it easy for me to give her this then making it fresh myself.
