The outfit is adorable. The skirt and shirt were easy for my daughter to put on and take off. She struggled with the boots, which were impossible for her and difficult for me. I am not sure if it was because we were putting them on an American Girl doll and not an Out Generation doll but it was a struggle.

cute outfit but boots don't go on
This outfit is cute and my daughter loved it but was immediately frustrated with the boots because they are very difficult to get on a next generation doll. I've tried several times myself and still not had success. The only thing that kept her from not being too sad about it was that she already had some boots in her doll clothes collection to use with it. Otherwise it would have been a bigger disappointment.

Hi Marie - Thank you for your feedback on the Our Generation Western Belle Country Outfit. It is very unusual that the boots do not fit your OG doll, as all outfits and accessories are designed and sized specifically for Our Generation 18" dolls. One trick that works is to make a small cut in the back of the boots. This will allow your daughter to slip them on. Sincerely, Team Battat

I love the outfit, but the boots are impossible to get on a real American Girl doll and extremely difficult to get on an Our Generation doll. Once on, it was extremely difficult to get the boots off, even for an adult.
