Women's Short Sleeve Ribbed T-Shirt - A New Day™ White L

I had past versions of these shirts that I absolutely loved. They used to be soft and stretchy. Something has clearly changed. Now they run so much smaller/tighter (definitely size up) and the fabric feels scratchy/of a much lower quality than before. I wish they would bring back the originals

I used to buy the previous version of this shirt religiously. It was my EVERYTHING shirt — workouts, layering under outfits, or simply wearing on its own. The fit, fabric, and neckline were perfect, and I genuinely considered it a wardrobe staple. Yesterday, I purchased about eight more, thinking I was stocking up on the same shirts I’ve loved for years. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed to discover that Target has completely changed them. The ribbing is now much thicker and more pronounced, giving the shirt a cheaper, overly casual appearance. But my biggest complaint is the collar. The original had a substantial crewneck band that made even a basic T-shirt look polished. This version has a thin, flimsy neckline that completely changes the look. I’m wearing the white one now, and the difference is especially noticeable. The fabric is more see-through, feels almost overstretched, and doesn’t gently hug the body the way the original did. Instead of looking fitted and flattering, it just feels shapeless and inexpensive. I understand updating a product, but this feels like a significant downgrade to something that was already perfect. I would buy the original version again in a heartbeat. Target, please bring it back!

Great fit, lightweight not a heavy shirt

Love this in the red/burgundy which leans blue. However, don't dry it. It's cottony but acts like lulu in the way it pills with cotton in the dryer.

This used to be such a nice everyday shirt. Please bring back the previous version. This version has a different material and runs smaller. I really don’t like it

This used to be a favorite of mine, but like many others have mentioned, they changed the shirt entirely. The shirt is really thin and lacking structure like the old version. The thick neckline and sleeve line made the shirt look so nice before the changes. Overall it’s just a really poor design.

The new ribbed shirts have no give and are not soft like the old ribbed tee. They’re just not comfortable at all and even a little scratchy, please bring back the old ones!

Fit. Runs small.

I like these tops . They’re easy , simple and can be dressed up or dressed down. They run slightly small , though . That is why I took away one star . There isn’t as much stretch- but if you’re looking for something versatile , this can be your go-to.

Slim fit. Not too thick/thin. Good length- not cropped!

These are very uncomfortable not like the old style. please take these off the shelves. Why ruin a good thing the quality of the material is poor. The fit is now tight not stretchy feeling it doesn't have any give to it so stiff

What happened?! These used to be incredible. They were soft & fit well & had more cotton. I bought them almost every year. Between targets political stance and this? You just keep losing further business. Bye.

These use to be made with 58% cotton, they dropped the cotton content to 48% and there is a clear difference in quality.

I was hoping this was the same as the previous ribbed shirts I’ve bought, but they have changed drastically. The material, feel, and fit are all different. The other was perfect for someone who doesn’t enjoy slim shirts, but this new style is not the same.

Washed once in cold water and it shrunk at least a size down all around, even in the arms. Big bummer because the color options are pretty for fall.

Initially, this shirt has to be stretched in order for it to fit, right. I did keep it, but it did feel a little tight, but after it started stretching, it was fine.
