A: Hi Mel, great question! You don’t need a monthly subscription to use Yoto Mini. You can buy individual Yoto Cards, including stories, music and educational content, whenever you like. We also offer Yoto Club as an optional subscription, which gives you access to more content and benefits depending on your plan. Physical cards are the easiest way for kids to choose and play their own stories screen-free. Hope that helps! 🧡

Q: Does the yoto mini use the same card as the yoto 3rd generation?
The YOTO so much better than its competitor (the one with the little figures). I got the player at target a year ago for my granddaughter and it was in the electronics section. This week I found it in toys with a nice selection of cards. Yoto is great! High quality. Easy to transport and use even for younger kids. There are a wide variety of cards and it’s easy to make your own (MYO). I’ve recorded fairy tales with turn the page signals and also music that I have that the grandkids like. The cards themselves are credit card sized and easy to store and use by putting them into the player. Customer service has been responsive and helpful when I’ve needed help. Sometimes my questions are answered by AI but it’s the right answer! I originally set up the yoto account and have access to it still. My second granddaughter got a mini last Christmas and I can see both yotos and all the cards on my phone and make changes and additions to books or playlists. My daughter just has to touch the card to her phone to update the card when I make changes. It’s been wonderful.

Yoto & JJ Heller cards are wonderful!
One of the best things we’ve bought! :) We love listening to Yoto games, stories, jokes, guess the instruments, and JJ Heller albums. The JJ Heller albums are amazing, so full of joy and peace and happiness with full orchestral arrangements and boys choir to absolutely beautiful songs we all love. Please check it out on Yoto as JJ Heller makes our home feel magical and less stressed. Hugs, you’re doing amazing!
