Description

Wayyyy too much pepper

Way too much pepper, usually I like a good cacio e Pepe, but dang, this is inedible. Way too much pepper and burns your mouth. At first, it’s okay and it’s pretty good then the pepper really kicks in. I love the caramelized onion one though. That I would recommend over this variation.

This is SO good! But be warned, if you don’t like pepper, you will not like this. For me, it was perfect, super peppery and creamy. Loved the pasta shape too!

Kraft Cacio e Pepe Mac and Cheese

I was anxiously awaiting this line to come out and snagged all three flavors as soon as I could. I'm a huge cacio e pepe fan and I really like pepper, but this way too overpowering for me. The packet smelled great but it was extremely spicy and I couldn't continue after a few bites. I actually threw it away and I never do this. Super disappointed and hoping one of the others will make up for it.

I enjoyed the flavor but wish they would have downplayed the pepper flavor a little bit as it was a little more on the peppery side. It amount of pepper they used made the aftertaste not as pleasant as I was hoping for.

Good, but heavy on the pepper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pasta was alright. Things that I liked: it’s easy to cook, it’s not super salty, and I love the noodles in it. However, the actual taste was very heavy on the pepper in my opinion, and I usually like pepper a good amount. I think that this Mac n cheese could be great if other ingredients were added to it to make a full dish, maybe with some vegetable or chicken or something.

It should have a warming on the box or a “hot level”. I like things a little spicy, but this one was so spicy that I couldn’t eat. My husband that has a higher tolerance could and he liked it. I just wish there was a note in the box.

Too Much Pepper!

Food typically doesn’t make me cough, but it did this time. It would have been truly great if it just had a little less pepper! I didn’t add any extra before serving. I wonder if my flavor packet got too much by mistake…

I do know pepper is a main flavor component of this dish, but it was so strong that it covered every other flavor. It wasn't overly cheesy. I felt like it was okay, but another person Ishared it with said he wished it was more cheesy. I was worried about the powder mixing in well with the noodles and not just getting stuck inside of them. I did all mix together nicely!
