CORNSTARCH????? TO REPLACE BUTTER???? ARE YOU MAD????? The new “now cheesier” recipe is not only less cheesy, but actually inedible. Even adding butter to the mac myself couldn’t fix it. This stuff is NASTY!!! I’ve been buying and eating annie’s mac & cheese for 20 years and I will not buy another box until they revert to the old recipe. I already regret buying 2 of the new one because the first box was so bad I thought it was a fluke.

I am so upset this is usually my number 1 Mac n cheese and with the new recipe it’s awful. I am so upset! They say more cheesier but it has zero taste and it’s gummy. Please change back to the old recipe! This one is so bad I will not be able to eat it again

Shells and white cheddar used to be hands down my favorite food. Since the recipe replaced butter and nonfat milk with “cornstarch and whey” I am disappointed and heartbroken every time I taste it. I thought Annie’s was about more than just the bottom line. If they care about having good products and the happiness of their customers they would return to their original amazing recipe.

Why did you have to change the original flavor? You have so many varieties now, couldn’t you have let the OG stay the same?? Y’all could have just started a new “cheesier” version instead. (It’s not “cheesier” now, either. It’s way less cheesy than it used to be.) I started eating Annie’s back in ‘89, and I loved how different and real it tasted compared to the other boxed macs. I won’t be buying this again, unless the recipe is changed back. Shame on those who made this decision, for what I can only assume is in the name of cost-cutting.
