Annie's Gluten Free Rice Pasta & Cheddar Mac & Cheese - 6oz

Noodles were fine the dried cheese has too much sodium. I I understand the sodium is used to keep the cheese dry but it is not edible.

Only Mac n Cheese I can eat with all of my food allergies. So glad I found it.

This still has the same Mac and cheese taste. The noodles are thicker than the non gluten free ones. We really like it and I definitely recommend trying it. It is pricey but watch for sales. And if you have to eat gluten free it’s worth it.

Yumm yumm. My only recomendation is you change the instructions to add 3 mins to the cook time. Whenever my wife makes this, she follows the box, and it tastes like eating woodchips. It needs an extra 3 minutes to boil in order to get soft enough. I noticed there's a few bad reviews on here. I'm guessing those people followed the box.

I cooked it according to the package after 8minutes noodles were still hard. After 11 minutes some noodles were hard and some were soft. Sad and disappointed.

The pasta was hard, and not in an "al dente" sort of way. It was like eating bland twigs. Super disappointing since I love other Annie's products.

Took longer than instructed to cook (by 50%+) and the water gets very gluey. Our preferred gluten free pastas are corn and rice blends - it would be great if Annie's had this!

you need to go back to the drawing board or rebrand this as wallpaper glue maker. the pasta makes the water turn into a slimy sticky substance. absolute trash 0 out of 5 stars for this adhesive

First time trying this, attempting to eliminate gluten from my diet. I was pleasantly surprised! I would recommend cooking it longer than the box indicates. It served as a side to our protein for a family of 3. I will be buying again. My 10 year old macaroni lover ate his portion right up!

Just had some of this wonderful mac n cheese today. I am GF, and also LF, lactose free, so the advantage of using my LF dairy milk is great! Wonderful texture, creamy sauce, and I love the flavor. I say had some, this box made enough for several more meals for me. I will be buying again.

So disappointed in my most recent purchase! Cannot believe how little comes in a box now! It also seems they’ve changed the cheese recipe? Tasted so much more like the crappy velveeta fake cheese than I ever remember. Not worth the price.

I was skeptical based on all the reviews saying the recipe has change and these are awful now... They're not. Maybe there's a learning curve for the pasta, but as someone who's been working with glutenfree pasta since before it was "cool" this is great. Super easy. Significantly cleaner ingredients than all other Mac n cheese boxes out there. Especially the GF options. Although this is definitely not craft mac n cheese it's good. My husband did mention it seemed bland, but I'm 90% sure he'd think it was super flavorful if I just added some turmeric and paprika for a richer color. Personally, I thought it was delicious. Super creamy, perfect cheese taste, texture of the pasta was great. Just do a taste and texture test before straining. The boil times are definitely wrong. *Don't let the noodles cool off. They're rice noodles. Just like rice paper wrappers or all other rice pastas they'll stiffen up if they cool off too much resulting in "al dente" texture even if cooked perfectly. *I always use real butter and whole milk, which could contribute to our better experience with thus "new" recipe.

First time trying this. I was surprised after boiling the pasta (following the directions on the box) to find how very little pasta was there. Not only that, but the noodles were quite hard. I’m not sure if this was just a bad batch or what, but I was a little disappointed.

Recipe changed….. the cheese is flavorless and pasta takes 15 minutes to cook (I used to cook the pasta easily in 6-7 minutes. I contacted Annie’s and they confirmed changes have been made

I agree with another review in that I think you need to cook it longer than the suggested time. I cooked these for about 8 minutes and they were still hard. Despite the crunchy noodles I did really enjoy the taste and found it to be nice and creamy (I used almond milk and added butter)

Left a bad aftertaste. When cooking the noodles they turned almost creamy but were hard at the same time. When straining it isnt just water draining but a thick rice water thing that is unappetizing.

I had to boil the paste for about 14 minutes. I put all of the ingredients together including the butter and the sauce was not creamy. It was very liquid and didn't stick to the noodles. I tried to eat it, but there was a terrible aftertaste and I couldn't finish my portion. I'm going to see if I can get my money back.

Thé box says to boil the pasta for 7-9 minutes. I boiled it for 12 minutes and it was still super hard 😖 ruined the whole thing sadly
