Women's Iconic Cotton Cardigan - Universal Thread™ Brown XS

This is one of my favorite Target finds of all time! It's 100% cotton and super soft, with a good bit of shape and drape, but still feels really durable and high quality. I like to wear it partially buttoned at the top and it flows out from the waist which is really nice. Looks good with everything!

Nice quality and pretty Autumn color. 5’9” 160lbs 36B. I have a long torso so it ran a tiny bit short for me. I am returning for the large and hoping for a little more length. Otherwise it’s a good quality, soft and comfortable.

This sweater is comfortable, cute, and warm.

The color is beautiful and it is of high quality. I will wear this one for a long, long time. It’s a plum-y color and matches the mauve short sleeved shirt from universal thread, as well as the purple barrel pants, which are what I am wearing in my photos.

Soooooo… it’s a great sweater but keep in mind that at 100% cotton it is definitely going to shrink. Made the mistake of throwing it in the dryer and now I’ve got myself a crop top! Very soft and comfy, though. Would buy again but at a larger size so it could be a perect fit after the shrinkage, lol.

I bought this in 3 colors while they were on sale and I'm so glad I did because I want EVERY color now! Soft, fits great, and the buttons are a nice detail! Absolutely love!

This cotton cardigan is really REALLY nice. Nice, thicker weight yarn, super soft, does not stretch out after wearing. The fit for me is perfect. Not too tight anywhere, even across the bust. I could put a tee or tank under it easily, but it looks perfect all on its own. Perfect Fall weight for S. California. Just the right length, not too short or too long. Will be buying it again in different colors. I am 5'5", 135 lbs, athletic build, usually wear a S and bought a S.

Love this 100% cotton sweater! Yay for the all cotton items! This is a great sweater. I’m 5’5”/130/34b and grabbed a small. I liked the fit is the xs better but this is 100% cotton so it will most likely shrink slightly. These reviews complaining about washing and drying flat seem silly to me. Just wash on a gentle cycle and at worst, place it over a bathroom towel bar or shower curtain bar to dry. Also, I think the base price is great for this quality, but I still bought mine on sale and am buying one for my sister today. It’s a similar cardigan to a popular and far more expensive brand from last year. Loving it!

Perfect fall cardigan. Nice, thick fabric. I typically wear a size medium, but ordered a large because I wanted a bit oversized. The size large "just"fits. Size up!

These cardigans are beautiful. I ordered the purple and oatmeal. It’s a slightly cropped fit but not a belly shirt. I think they are overpriced honestly. I have no clue how they would hold up on the wash. I did not end up keeping, hoping for a sale on them.

I just bought a sweater just like this for $90. So glad target is getting 100% cotton clothes. Haven’t bought anything from target clothes in a while and I’m super happy with this cardigan!

I didn't expect to like this cardigan as much as I did. I just casually tried it on in-store, and whereas most sweaters often make me look big and chunky, I didn't feel that way about this one. I think it's because the thick-guage knit kind of drapes a bit, rather than clings, and because of the raglan-like arm seam placement. I wound up liking the green the best for my coloring; it's a dusty, cool, kind of sea grass, heathered green - the online photo makes it look more like a warmer moss green. I like the actual color better. My second favorite color was the purple, which is also slightly heathered. The brown is not heathered, its color is solid. On size, I'm 5'2" with a compact torso and about 36" bust, and I wound up liking how small looked on me over xs, even though xs fit fine as well. I just personally thought that the greater drape with the small suited me better than focusing on being more close to my body shape. The overall quality feels pretty good.
