John Christopher Thomas is Clarence J. Abbott Professor of Biblical Studies at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, Cleveland, TN, USA. He is editor of the Journal of Pentecostal Theology and its supplement series. His many publications include monographs on Footwashing in John 13 and The Devil, Disease, and Deliverance. Origins of Illness in New Testament Thought. He is also the author of The Spirit of the New Testament.
