So I enjoy these a lot, however- don’t wash in the dishwasher and then use to store cool liquids. I had 2 shatter on the bottom after they were in the fridge for a period of time. After washing by hand though (scrub brush), the remainders remain intact.

We all know glass is fragile, and we all go to handle glass carefully to make sure it doesn't break. What do you mean a tap in the sink as I am washing it is enough to take off a good chunk?

It's a decent pitcher but the lid ruins it completely. The plastic lid is exactly the same as the top to a Pringles can. It traps bacteria and leaves a constant stink on the top of the pitcher. You can wash it constantly and the stink will abruptly return. I'm trying to find a replacement lid. Otherwise the pitcher is basically worthless. Maybe it would work better as a vase.

I was so excited to use these carafes for holiday batch cocktails. The same day I brought them home, I barely clinked one against the other setting them down, and one completely shattered. I know they’re glass, but they are way too thin it seems. I guess you get what you pay for, but I would appreciate a refund!

I've been using this carafe for a couple days (just filtered water) and today I noticed a couple bits of loose glass clinging to the side of the carafe. Not a good thing--I hope I haven't swallowed any glass. I thought this carafe was cheaply made, but it was inexpensive so I bought it anyway. But now I think it's not safe so I'm returning.

Perfect glass jar! Very great quality and the lid keeps it secure! The way I clean it is by adding soap and hot water and letting it sit for a minute I tried to get a bottle brush as far as I can get inside and then I just will shake the soap really good, I would consider getting a longer brush though.
