Works for hot tea
The product description doesn’t mention whether it’s heat-resistant, but in actual use it performs well. Before pouring in hot water, it’s better to swirl a small amount of hot water inside the cup to warm it up, then fill it completely with hot water.

Quality took a nosedive
We bought a couple of these a few years back. Thick glass, no imperfections, the little flower was visible and pretty. we just bought 3 more and they are HORRIBLE. the glass is thin and discolored. You can barely make out that the little stamp is a flower. there are divots and stripes all up and down the carafe. and, they made it more expensive.

Don't freeze it on accident
Love it but do not put it in the back of your refrigerator it froze at the bottleneck part popped at the bottom. I had coffee everywhere. I did go back and buy another one because I love the look and didn't put it in the back, so far so good.

Perfect for 3 days of office iced tea!
I work 3 days a week in the office, and while I drink cooler water all day at my desk, I love iced tea with my lunch in the breakroom, and this carafe is perfect to hold one cold brew iced tea bag and keep in the fridge for just the right amount of beverage for 3 lunches each week. Wash by hand!
So I enjoy these a lot, however- don’t wash in the dishwasher and then use to store cool liquids. I had 2 shatter on the bottom after they were in the fridge for a period of time. After washing by hand though (scrub brush), the remainders remain intact.
