A: Thanks for the additional detail! You’re correct—the legs on this table use a locking support brace. To fold the legs, press the diagonal support brace toward the leg to release the lock. While holding the brace in the released position, gently swing the leg inward toward the underside of the tabletop. The brace should move with the leg as it folds.
It may take a little pressure to disengage the lock, but please do not force the leg itself. If the brace will not slide or release, please send a photo of the underside of the table showing the hinge area so we can help troubleshoot. Your instinct not to force it is right—the brace is the release point, not the leg hinge.

A: We do warn about nickel but not lead. The warning that we put on our products is called Prop 65 and it reads:

Skashes on the top of it
I did a drive up order and when we took it out at home there are slashes in it like from a box opener. They put it in my car and didn't look until we took it out.

Useful for quick things. I used them for a garage sale. I can use them for guests/game night. The top is a cheap pleather that came ripped with curb pickup. It has a giant label so you can't see if it's ripped under until you remove it at home. I can throw a table cloth over it so it's fine.
