3M Indoor Extra Large Window Insulator Kit

biggest waste of my money. why did i just spend $25 on this

I bought 2 big kits and the tape was patchy in both it wouldn't work. Last year it was great

Received two boxes and the tape was bad. Returned these and received two more boxes and the tape was bad on these also.

The paper would not peel off as described. I tried everything. Ended up ordering more tape separately. Paid just as much for tape as the whole kit. What a rip off!

I have tried everything and so has someone else for me, but the two sided tape will not separate. Can't pull off the paper line .

When opening the package I experienced the same concern as the 1 star review. I thought I was ripped off and the plastic wasn't 6'8" but after 30 minutes of messing with the plastic I managed to separate the layer and unfold it into the proper height. After that everything was fine, but the it was really hard to find the seem and separate that layer..

I work at a hardware store in town and sold the window kit to a customer for her windows. She brought it back saying it was to short, we examined the product and it was to short. It shows that it should be 6'8" but was less than 4'. We opened another package of the product to check it. It was also too short.

The film that came in both of my packages is 3 foot 8 inches and NOT the 7 foot that it promises. I opened two different packages and the same thing! THis is frustrating and I have had to go back to different stores numerous times to buy, rebuy and return. DO NOT BUY THIS MISLEADING PRODUCT

I bought this expecting 6 ft 8 in x 19.5 ft. The product inside is not even 4 ft wide...although it is the 19.5 ft long. Hopefully stripping the window will seal properly...Bought Nov 2017

I have used this product three times in three years. It is perfect for my very wide 4-panel patio doors. I agree it would be nice if the box mentioned that it is big enough for this purpose. The reviewer who thought the product was not sized as promise has my sympathy. The film is very thin and it can be deceiving when unfolding it. That is why the company include a little sheet with a suggestion for the best way to unfold the final flaps. Works perfectly. I suspect he or she was not able to discern the need for one more unfolding. Overall, an excellent product.

We were looking for a plastic covering for a large patio door that was 12' wide. When looking at the product packaging it says it's for extra large windows with no mention of patio door applications. After looking at the specifications on the box and comparing it to a patio door product it was obvious the sheet was the same size as the patio door plastic. The box should say on it that it will work for an XL window OR patio door.
