The reviews were right.... the "india" print kills the clean look of it all. **however, removed with 100% acetone. looks much better. wouldn't look so bad for presentation of manufacture location if it was engraved/stamped in, rather than painted if they wanted representation.

Why are these pictured without the “India” label that is on the handle of each knife? The box was also damaged and one of the knives bent, like something fell on or crushed it. Returning and looking for new ones with a solid black finish.

These are hideous. They have an imprint on the handles that say “India.” It’s not shown on the online pictures. Ruins the look of the product. Will be returning.

It’s a great set but unfortunately the finish scratches easily and the stamping “INDIA” on each piece is rather obvious and unappealing. If they keep producing hopefully they will change the “INDIA” stamp. Otherwise, functionally, it’s a great set to dig into charcuterie.
