Q: how many sheets per roll?
A: Hello Robin - Great question, there are 380 sheets per roll. Happy shopping! - Tazia
submitted byTazia - 2 months agoTarget staff supportA: video accompanying this product "Soft and Strong" toilet paper shows the packaging and it clearly lists: "484 TWO-PLY SHEETS PER ROLL TOTAL 645.3 SQ FT (59.9 m7) - 4 IN x 4 IN" for 12 Mega Rolls

Q: Hi, is this 2 ply paper? thanks
A: We are here to help. Yes, these are two-ply toilet paper rolls. Enjoy! Shelly
submitted byShelly - 8 months agoTarget staff supportA: Yes, BUT, each ply is thinner than more expensive brands. So, it's less absorbent and you have to use more... which makes it less of a value than it seems.

Q: Does it shred....u know little bit pieces everywhere while using???
A: no it does not shred
submitted byMJ - 1 year agoTarget staff supportA: It does not shred, does not feel like "septic tank safe" toilet paper. Works great, ordering it again!

Q: Are there separately wrapped 4- or 6-packs within the outer wrap? (easier to store if in separate packs). Thanks!
A: Yet another wrong answer from "Target staff support"... I just checked my 30 roll pack and it has 5 separate packs of 6 rolls inside. Logically, the 18 pack likely has 3 packs of 6 inside.
submitted byTarget Customer - 3 months agoA: Hello Denise - Thanks for reaching out. No, the package of 6, 18 or 30 rolls do not have smaller packs inside the outer wrap. Have a great day. - Matt

Q: What is the width of the toilet paper roll? I am not sure it will fit.
A: The entire width of the roll is 5-5 1/4" wide
submitted bykarenleafrost - 4 years agoA: I have a standard toilet paper roll bar and the mega rolls fit just fine...if you get the ultra soft & strong or bigger rolls, the tissue will rub against the wall. Also, there is a lot more dust and debris with the ultra soft. The standard stuff is also a bit too thin and seems to require more to get good absorbancy. I like Soft & Strong the best.

Q: What proportion is recycled? I'm looking for an ecological, ethical choice, comparable to 7thh Generation.
A: Hello Hammertime - Great Question! Up & Up™ Soft & Strong toilet paper is produced with 100% virgin fiber. Target’s Everspring™ toilet paper is made with 100% recycled fiber. Happy Shopping! - Thanks

Q: Does this toilet paper contain formaldehyde? Also, I see it's free of "elemental chlorine", does that mean it's totally chlorine free?
A: Hello - Thank you for reaching out. The raw materials used to produce this toilet paper do not list formaldehyde as an ingredient. Please note that the product is not tested for the presence of formaldehyde; therefore, we cannot with certainty state whether trace amounts would be detectable. Please be assured that the product is produced in accordance with state and federal product safety regulations. The industry accepted definition of Elemental Chlorine Free means the pulp bleaching or whitening process does not use elemental chlorine, but it may use chlorine derivatives, such as chlorine dioxide. We hope this helps answer your questions. Take care and have a great day! - Alex

Q: How many total square feet is the 18-roll pack. It's impossible to read from the picture (even if you widen the pic). it looks like it's either 650 or 850 ft.² which is a big difference.
A: Hi RedRyder - Thank you for reaching out! The 18 mega roll pack is 850 Sq Ft. Happy shopping! - Cedria

Q: Specifically, what chemicals are used to whiten the pulp? Thank you, in advance, for answering this question.
A: Hello An - The pulp used for our product is whitened using an Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) process. ECF uses chlorine dioxide for the whitening of wood pulp. It does not use elemental chlorine gas during the process and prevents the formation of dioxins and dioxin-like compounds. For more information, there are many documents on the internet that explain ECF. - KeOsha
