  • A: Hi! The sofa is fairly easy to clean. Just try some mild soap and water to spot clean an area. Regarding assembly, it comes shipped in a single box and should fit through most doors and stairways. If not, the sofa is split into 4 pieces so you can remove from the box and transport that way. Assembly is easy and can be done within 15 minutes with 2 people.

    Good item for the price

    Comes in a single box and easy to assemble without tools. Good quality item at this price point. The back flap is leather and just needs to be stretched a little to attach tightly to velcro. The seat and back cushion material puffs up when the packages are opened and needs to be properly put inside the casings. So, if you do it right it'll look great. I did need to add some extra filling to make it look best but I'm very satisfied.

    Just the right size

    I needed a small loveseat for my sewing room. I read the reviews and this one seemed to be what I wanted. It wasn’t very hard to put together; I was able to do it by myself (with a little “help” from my cat). One thing to watch out for is that there are thin cloth panels on the bottom with Velcro closures. The Velcro is very strong, but the cloth isn’t, so the cloth ripped when I opened one of them (see photo). Be sure you have a grip on the actual Velcro and not just the fabric when you pull it open. The seat part is a little more narrow than some loveseats, but overall I’m really happy with it so far.

    Falls Short of Expectations

    Terrible execution of a wonderful idea. This loveseat is the perfect size for the space that I purchased it for, and looks good from the front. It has to be placed against the wall due to the black velcro-closed backing. Even that isn't so bad if you have a small room, and the fabric seems to be sturdy. However, design flaws and poor construction of the fabric covering the frame made for a frustrating assembly. There were no assembly instructions included, and some of the hardware was missing. I got past that and managed until I got to installing the middle feet. I had to cut the fabric on the bottom to install the feet, and with the feet in place over the top of the two bottom panels it is hard to see what you are doing to get the bolts installed. I finally accomplished that then discovered, as other reviewers have noted, that the back fabric panel is much too short to reach the velcro - it is just hanging loose at this point. I have cats, so this is a disaster waiting to happen. This product line is a novel idea that would probably be embraced by many if the execution/assembly had been carefully thought out before production.

    It's okay.

    Purchased this love seat for a room that gets very little use - just needed some extra seating. I'd read the other reviews, but underestimated the amount of time it would take to put together. All the pieces are shoved inside the frames and it took probably 30 minutes just to get everything unpacked and laid out and accounted for. It took me and two others about an hour or so to open it and piece it together. A few complaints: - I agree with another reviewer - the leather is very slippery and the throw pillows are useless b/c one side is leather so they slide right off the couch. Which is fine because I was not a fan of the print/colors anyway so we just tossed them. - One of the seat cushions was pretty wonky/smooshed when viewing from the front- supposedly they continue to fluff up over time. I've just gone in a few extra times, pulled the cushion out and shoved it back in to get the front corner to even out. - Took some work to get the two back cushions to look even as well. One appeared to be slightly higher than the other. We ended up throwing a blanket across the back middle seam rather than worrying too much about it. Overall, it meets our needs and works fine for secondary seating that rarely gets used. My review kind of makes it sound like I hate it, but it really is fine for the price. I probably wouldn't purchase it again and would instead do some more shopping around, but I'm satisfied enough that I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised by it and instead was like, "well... it works."

    Disappointed

    Easy to assemble. Looks very nice but was disappointed that on the description it states that it is leather and it is definetly NOT leather. This being you kind of slide when sitting on it. Also, the toss pillows have the same faux leather that they do not stand up against the back of the sofa because the slip down.

    Great value for the bucks!

    I bought this item on sale. It's amazing a piece of furniture can ship in such a compact box. Relatively easy to put together. Per instructions, takes a few days to fully decompress. Although bonded leather you really can't tell. Good value for the $. Very cute.

    Nice inexpensive loveseat

    This looks very nice, is a good size and style. My biggest complaint is that it is extremely slippery. The seat cushions slip right off, and when you sit on them, you feel like you're going to slip right off the front also! But it is inexpensive bonded leather, so I don't expect much with the leather. Other than that, I think it looks great in my space and is a great value for the money.

    Innovative diy design

    The packaging of this diy sofa is so innovative. Each piece is packed inside of something else. Even so, it was easy to assemble - I did it myself in less than 30 min. The fabric is thick and nice and the color was on point with the photo. This sofa is not that comfortable - the depth is short so you feel.like you can't sit back as far as a typical sofa. Although the cushions are firm they are just moderately comfortable. However the intent of this sofa is to sit in our living room, to look nice upon entry and not to be sat in for long periods of time. It works perfectly as intended and the price can't be beat!
