Q: Does each fixture require 6 solar batteries? Specs say "These weather-resistant solar path lights require 6 AA nickel metal hydride batteries". Not sure that is one per light, or 6 per light.

A: I have these lights on my front walkway and LOVE them! I am on year 2 for some of mine and the batteries (regular) do die out and I replace with new AA batteris. I get a big pack at Costco/Sams.

Q: How long does a solar charge last? As in, how many hours will a fully charged battery stay lit? Does it need to recharge every single day for it to be able to turn on that night?

A: Hello Jules - Thank you for your interest in the item. The amount of time needed to charge will depend on the sun light exposure. 8 hours of direct sunlight exposure on the solar panel should give approximately 6 hours of light at night. In general, the item will need sun exposure during the day in order to illuminate at night. It will need to recharge everyday. I hope you enjoy the product. - Jaime

I really love the look of these, but having said that the stake/bottom needs to be reinforced because I already had one crack, and we just installed them today. Paying $45.00 for a 6 pack, you’d expect quality. Now I see they aren’t in stock.

The lights and solar work great and they look so nice in our yard. I took 2 stars is because the spike doesn’t go far enough into the post and the bottom of the light and spike connection point keeps breaking, making them useless because they don’t stand anymore.

The laterns themselves are nice, but the bases are plastic. All six of my bases cracked at the point where they meet the stake in the ground. They lasted about a week.

They are too heavy and the stake/base is brittle plastic and breaks super easily. Otherwise I love the look and style of them. I think if you reinforced the base somehow they work but not for the cost.

They are gorgeous, unique and I love the look but these fall short big time in durability. They are brittle where the stake attaches to the stem of the light and two chipped during installation. The stake doesn’t lodge high enough in the stem of the light. Because they are top heavy, if they are jostled or nudged in the slightest, the stem and light detach and the stake remains buried. I want to love them but they have become a nuisance.

I have a total of three lights in the package that do not work. I have bought six packages total so that’s not bad but still I but just enough packages to do what I needed and found out that three lights aren’t functioning and would have to buy an entire box of six again just for the three that aren’t working otherwise they’re pretty and they light up well

I love the design and brightness. However upset the lights dont stay on for several hours while its nighttime. I let them sit in sunlight for 7 hours but at night they are lit for 3 hours.

I love these lights they are very bright and pretty in my garden. Unfortunately the plastic isn’t the best and it can break if you do not push it into the ground in a straight direction. I also have found hot glue helps to keep the pieces together. It’s worth the extra step. Wait for the sale price and buy one more box than you think you’ll need. I wish I did!

I should have read the reviews before opening them.. one broke already. I was simply pushing it into the ground (as I normally would) and it broke at the base. I’ve had some pretty solid solar landscape lights in the past and these are not them. The lights are quite bright tho, so at least there’s that.

The quality of the light is really great, however that doesn’t matter when they cannot stand up on their own. The wind has knocked them all over at some point and cracked the cheaply made spike that goes into the ground rendering it essentially useless to stand on its own.

Two of them broke immediately upon trying to put them into the ground (soft, wet ground from the rain). Just snapped in half at the base. Don’t waste your money; they seem like they’re going to fall over the first time there’s strong wind or they get nicked gently with the weedeater.
