I like this better than the baby tubs and the other seat-style tubs that have fabric for separate reasons. With the baby tubs you still need to hold the baby up, in the tub, to expose their butt and back to the water fully - and even then you're holding the baby around a molded seat, with not much extra space. With the fabric seat style tubs, yeah the fabric is washable, but that means you should be washing it pretty often. I'd rather wipe down this mesh-style tub than have to remove fabric and put it through the washer and let it air dry every time I'm washing the baby. With this tub you can literally just wipe it down with the baby soap and rinse it right after the baby uses it and then you're done. Also the baby's back and butt is exposed to the water more so than in the other baths. My daughter had a bad diaper rash, so this tub was perfect for letting her sore little bum soak in the water. She loved it - fell asleep in it the first time she used it.
