The smell

A $5 candle in a $35 jar.
I really wanted to love this candle, but the quality of the candle itself doesn’t match the glass jar the candle is in. The spacing of the two wicks was off, both were very close together on one side of the candle causing a very uneven burn. Fragrance throw was minimal. Overall, a bummer to spend $40 on a 16oz candle that feels only premium because of the glass jar.

Sweet fresh scent and really nice jar for later!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the scent, it was fresh and citrusy but a little sweet. I have a relatively large space and it had good scent throw. The picture is after burning it 3 times for at least 2 hours each time. A little tunneling but nothing terrible. The container and lid both feel high quality and would be great as a vase or planter after I’m done burning it.

So Fresh and So Clean
Love love this brand. I was so happy to have come upon Apotheke during my weekly Target trip. I love the scent Earl Grey Bitters so much that I bought both candle sizes Target has to offer and the diffuser. Apotheke is the only candle brand I will be buying from here on out. The candles burn so clean and the ingredients are pure.

Chic Woody & Smoky Black Candle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The APOTHEKE Charcoal candles are some of my absolute favorites - I have them in all sizes all over my home. They are chic in their all-black aesthetic and this one is a two wick black wax candle in a gorgeous translucent black glass jar with a matching lid. The scent is masculine with woody and smoky aromas on top, and a very light fruity and green undertone. Scent throw can occasionally be hit-or-miss even among the same candle types but is typically strong even in my large living room, and it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. The soy wax blend burns clean and is long lasting. If you're looking for a stylish, modern, masculine-scented candle, I could not recommend this one more.

The scent on this jar smells so clean and fresh. And when it’s lit its intensity fills the room. The candle is a traditional large size double wick jar so it lasts for a long time! One of the BEST Candles I have tried.

Great light, but smell not very strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This burns very brightly and easy to light. It recommends cutting the wicks before lighting it because it does burn more ferociously after a few minutes after the first. It isn't a very strong smell after burning even for an hour but it does have a slight scent if you are sitting nearby, it just won't make your whole house smell pleasant like other scents might.

The glass is strong. I actually hit it with something and thought I broke it but it held strong! The smell last awhile too.
