20oz Signature Tumbler Amber and Sandalwood - Yankee Candle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everytime I buy a Yankee Candle, I only buy this candle scent, Amber & Sandalwood. It's my favorite! My family loves it too. It's subtle yet luxurious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you gravitate towards fresh & clean fragrances with woody, herbaceous, musky and earthy notes, Yankee Candle’s Midsummer’s Night should be right up your alley. It has the kind of cool, dark and deep profile that feels both fresh and grounded, making it a perfect scent for atmospheric evenings. The fragrance is thoughtfully layered and well balanced. Middle notes of lavender (sweetly floral and herbaceous with earthy undertones), pine (coniferous and resinous with balsamic undertones) and floral sage (herbaceous and crisp green with earthy undertones) form the heart of the scent. Together, they create a clean herbal freshness with a cool, outdoorsy depth rather than a sweet or powdery floral character. Top notes of bergamot (bright citrus and fresh green with sweetly floral undertones) and lime (sharp citrus and crisp green with fruity undertones) add brightness, lift and a sharper, more aromatic edge. That opening impression keeps the scent fresh and invigorating without making it feel overly zesty or heavy. Base notes of cedarwood (earthy and resinous with balsamic undertones), vetiver (earthy and fresh green with mossy undertones), juniper berry (coniferous and sharp green with resinous undertones) clary sage (herbaceous and sweetly floral with balsamic and musky undertones) and moss (mossy with earthy and fresh green undertones) give the candle its signature depth. The cedarwood brings smooth, dry woodiness; Vetiver adds an earthy, slightly smoky character; Juniper berry contributes a crisp evergreen nuance; Clary sage reinforces the aromatic herbal quality; and moss gives the finish a cool, earthy freshness. The result is a dark, woodsy, herbaceous base that feels clean, masculine, and sophisticated. In terms of fragrance, this is one of the richer and more distinctive scents in the Yankee Candle lineup. The throw is noticeable and room filling without becoming harsh, and the overall profile stays smooth, cool, and grounded rather than sweet, bright, or powdery.

Bayside Cedar is my absolute favorite scent by Yankee Candle. And Yankee Candles always last so long and burn so evenly compared to other brands.

I really enjoy this candle! The scent is a nice clean cedar fragrance that isn’t too strong or overpowering. It gives off a fresh cozy feel, it works well in any room. I also like that it lasts a while and continues to smell great over time. Overall, a really nice candle if you’re looking for something subtle and long lasting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fragrance itself is absolutely fantastic and it’s the type of fresh, warm day scent I was looking for. I personally like Pink Sands Glow better, but they’re similar and both still great. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars isn’t due to the scent itself, but rather the tumbler style candle. I think the double wicks burn far too quickly which gives off the underlying oil/burn scent that inferior candle brands do that don’t have the wick-to-size ratio correct that Yankee Candle typically does. Overall, still a good purchase but I’d go for the Large Jar style next time that I normally buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice scent. It’s pleasant but not my favorite. It has a woodsy musk to it with a bit more sweetness than I expected. I had hoped it would be a little more “fresh” woodsy that smells like a Spring scent, but it’s rather the “musky” woods, and I’m prone to lighting it more on a rainy day than a nice Spring day.
