Great Bacon, Deceiving Serving Suggestion
I love this bacon, truly. I love that it's organic and tastes like quality bacon. However, the serving size suggests two slices. It always says on the package "abour four servings" and there are always SIX slices. I am no math wizard, but if the servings suggestions was accurate, that would equate to eight slices. I always get my hopes up that perhaps things will be different this time, but they are indeed never different. JUST PUT THREE SERVINGS OR GIVE ME TWO MORE SLICES, PLEASE! Maybe I am the fool for falling for this. I think we would all appreciate honest serving suggestions. I would have no complaints otherwise!

Too much water
I use to by Applegate bacon and couldn't remember why I stopped. I purchased some this past weekend and instantly remembered why. The bacon is paper thin and processed with way too much water. It becomes apparent immediately upon cooking as the bacon begins piping and snapping sending grease and water everywhere and it cooks done to a quarter of it's starting size.

The stench!
The pig my bacon came from was clearly not castrated. When I started baking it, the smell was unbearable. My house smelled so bad for hours. It is a specific smell you will never forget. Returned the bacon and will never buy it from this brand again.

Overly salted (manufacturing error?)
This baccon was incredibly salty. Looking at the salty. I know baccon is salty, but I think there was something wrong with the package I got, it was almost inedible. Looking at the sodium content on the nutrition lable, it looks normal for baccon, so I don't know if this was some kind of manufacturing error. Baccon is supposed to be salty, I know what baccon is supposed to taste like, but this was crazy levels of salt. My partner refused to eat it at all.

shocked and appalled
Unbelievable amount of $$ for what you get. Don't let the packaging image fool you. Maybe Sunday bacon means there is little fat on it and I was expecting something more like regular bacon. The picture shows slices with a lot of fat. What I got was meaty and cooked very tough. Not crispy. I was suprised at how much I swore at slices of bacon. NOT TO BE USED FOR BLTs.
