Description

Book Synopsis

Zephyr Arland is in over his head--and the people training him are counting on it. Arcstream: False Start #2, the middle chapter of the debut limited series from Andrew Rodriguez and Lee Sands.

Zephyr Arland comes from a family of speedsters--and in issue #1, the false-starting kid from North Florespark High finally got an offer of guidance. Issue #2 is where the offer shows its teeth: AzTech's plans for the young speedster go far beyond teaching him to control his powers, and the conflict that began as mentorship reveals itself as something else entirely. The secrets deepen, the choices get harder, and the stage gets set for a finale that will decide who Zephyr is and who he chooses to become.

The middle chapter of the three-issue Arcstream: False Start limited series--#1 is on sale now, and the finale lands 3/16/27. The series also threads into the wider Rippaverse: the forces moving around Zephyr connect to villains readers know from the line's darkest corners. A coming-of-age superhero story for teen readers, from inside the Rippaverse's own creative team.

From writer Andrew Rodriguez--Creative Manager at Rippaverse Publishing, whose Blue-Shift story in RippaZine #5 introduced Zephyr--with interior art by RippaFest winner Lee Sands and colors by Andrew Dalhouse.
