I have not flown with this luggage, the big takeaway is if it holds up to the crazy luggage handlers at the airport, each piece is light weight , so you can pack a couple extra pounds in your suitcase. I have used it for trips in the car with no issues at all and even has the ability to expand too

The handles seem very sturdy. The walls of the cases seem a bit thin so I question their durability long term but it does have a 10 year warranty so they stand behind their product. I love this!
