Our Apple Crumble loaf has Big Apple Pie sweating. Hard. It's probably because we load it with tender baked apples, warm chai spices, real buttermilk, and top it all off with a crunchy brown sugar streusel. The result? A loaf that is everything an apple pie wished it was if it dared to lose the pie tin and start living dangerously. It’s an elite, crumbly masterpiece. And honestly, it's starting to hurt a lot of traditional pies' fillings.

Our story: 25+ years ago, Nancy's mom, Granny Peg baked a sweet loaf so good that friends and family started showing up at her door unannounced just to see if she had any extra loaves lying around. That prized family recipe sparked Nancy’s lifelong love for baking and became the blueprint for Bakehouse Bread Company®. Today, we’re still honoring that legacy by baking from scratch the old-fashioned way with plenty of heart, simple pantry staples, and zero weird stuff. And when it comes to flavor? A borderline embarrassing lack of moderation.

Even better than I expected

I’m a big fan of squishy under baked fruit breads. I could smell this one through the packaging and it smelt amazing and it lured me into buying it. When I got to open it up and try a bite, it was super moist, a bit crumbly, which is fine. And the apple topping tastes great. It reminds me of apple cider in a bread form

Bad bread - soggy - doesbt fetl filly baked. Very small liaf fod tge $. Lkkr

Bread is “wet like” - sticks to the cellophane, is dense, yet wet. It’s almost like it hasn’t finished baking. Did not like it at all, and I love almost all breads. Spendy waste of $$

Plastic taste, no crumble.

It tastes a bit like plastic. I got mine through drive up. Mine doesn’t have the advertised crumble. Two of the reviews mention a crumble and one said theirs added crunch which is part of the reason I bought it and probably would have skipped it had I seen it in person first.

This Apple Crumble Bread tastes just like homemade apple pie in bread form. The apples are tender and flavorful, and the crumb topping provides a delightful crunch. Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. I'll definitely be ordering it again.
