Katz Gluten Free Sliced Challah Bread - 6 Pack

Very disappointing to me; I've missed Challah since my diagnosis in 1976! And I fell for your (understandable -- but misplaced) hyperbole. But as I said, the bread is not without merit. It's a good taste, the consistency (maybe reminiscent of Challah) is nice -- but not as claimed!

Portions are a little small but that is totally okay. Everything is excellent. Will admit one of the loafs of bread was tiny bit crushed. Would be nice if they had cardboard inserts to protect the bread.

I discovered your Challah bread when I was getting the mystery box. It was delicious to the point where I actually canceled my mystery box and now I'm set up for a subscription for the Challah bread. Now this first package of bread was not quite as fresh as the one that arrived in my mystery box. But I do have to say that it is much tastier and much better bread even if it's a little stale like this loaf than I can get anywhere locally here in Alabama. It is wonderful to be able to have a sandwich again because it is nicely sliced so that you don't feel like you're eating a Texas style piece of bread. I like the size of the slices. I feel like I'm getting a whole sandwich rather than just a half which many gluten-free breads have very small slices and make one feel a little cheated. Not this stuff. I love it. The bread itself has a wonderful flavor. It's tasty. It has some texture without being dense so that it makes a sandwich enjoyable or even some toast with my breakfast in the morning. Since discovering I had a wheat allergy at age 70 "" which radically changed my diet and my life "" it really is a pleasure to have a good loaf of bread. And while I liked the mystery box - I discovered I really don't enjoy the sweet stuff as much as I enjoy a good slice of bread or toast or a sandwich. Thank you, Mrs. Katz and the folks of cats's bakery. You sure know how to make food taste wonderful. And if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep "" I can actually enjoy a slice of the Challah bread with a cup of tea. It's lovely that it taste good even when it's not toasted. I like that. I don't have to disguise the flavor of this bread with a topping or being toasted. It stands alone when you want to. It makes me not miss all the stuff that I could have before and cannot have now. So thank you. And a special thanks to Hannah and your customer service department for helping me switch subscriptions. I like knowing there's bread in the freezer to enjoy when the one in the refrigerator is gone.

My Son loves it when he has this bread he is happy and doesn't feel deprived.

This was our second order and we enjoyed this bread for it was very soft and not dry.

One of the best packaged GF breads I've found. Taste and texture is almost identical to the home bread machine challah I used to have. Toasts well but is also great just defrosted from the freezer.

This challah bread is delicious. Love it.

When I had to go gluten free I missed Challah the most. This bread is good but is dry and easily falls apart. However, it's the best option on the market.

I think the Challah bread is the best of all of the types of bread you offer. It makes good grilled cheese sandwiches, French Toast, and cheesy egg toast (my own breakfast concoction.) I freeze it, and take out only the number of slices I need, thaw it on half power in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, and then put it in the toaster oven or skillet as per recipe.

Unfortunately good gluten free bread is hard to find. Overall found it pretty typical, rather on the dry side, not a lot of taste. However in toast form was pretty good. Also started to mold rather quickly which surprised me
