These had a great texture and good puffed up consistency with some crackle and crunch when you bite into them. Good release of trapped air bubbles when you chew, which adds to the flavor. The seasoning is exactly what it says it is. Hot and spicy powder. It's one-dimensional but complements the very clearly present pork skin flavor of the underlying product. Overall it is kind of "meh". But it's not bad for store-brand. I have had other more expensive chicharrones that I enjoyed more (to the point where I had to remove the bag from my presence to stop eating them.) These are not that. I found it easy to stop eating these. Maybe that's a good thing, in some ways. But if you are after a mouth-watering, can't-stop-eating-them ok-just-one-more, experience, look elsewhere. If you just want inexpensive, perfectly edible pork rinds, I recommend giving these a try.

This is a great product that I have ordered several times from Target. It is hard to find anywhere else. Never had a problem with availabilty from Target.

Baken-ets have been tasting terrible lately, like chemicals but I decided to try again. This time I odered baken-ets but evidently they were out, the order was delayed and when they arrived, they were golden flake instead. They are great! I will order these from now on, i just hope I don't get baken-ets instead, how ironic that would be. thanks for the substitute!

These are so good! They’re hard to find in my little town so I love that I can order them in bulk online. They are the perfect mix of a soft but crunchy pork rind. The spice is just right, not too spicy but definitely has heat. The price is unbearable too!

These are delicious! It seems though, that they’ve gone and decided to make them like the chip bags and only fill about 60% of the bag but hiked up the price. Still good but a tad pricier.
