The Ballroom Thieves - Unlovely (Vinyl)

Boston trio The Ballroom Thieves hit their creative stride on their third full-length Unlovely in 2020. Among it's eleven tracks, "In The Dark," "Love Is Easy," and "Homme Run" showcased the nuances of the group's musical approach, while the album thematically shifted from a politically charged battle cry to an emotional exorcism. Right out of the gate, it received praise from American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, and No Depression raved, "Unlovely embodies the comradely atmosphere of a protest." It's nothing short of lovely.
