‘Born To Die’, Lana Del Rey’s highly anticipated 2012 debut album, is now available on opaque red vinyl, only at Target. The New York-based singer, songwriter and performer has described herself as a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and cites Britney Spears, Thomas Newman and Bruce Springsteen as her musical influences. Lana Del Rey's direct influences were visual as well as musical; David Lynch, soundtracks for `50s black and white movies, the whirring sound of the Ferris at Coney Island, fame itself. She lived in a New Jersey trailer park and decked her homestead in flags, streamers and seasonally inappropriate Christmas lights. Like these things she loves, the album sparkles with color and vitality. Includes the hit singles “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans”.

i love love love lana del rey, and born to die is my favorite album of hers, so i’ve been wanting this vinyl for a long time. i must say, it did not disappoint. the only thing negative i’d say is the scratchy sound when silent, but that’s on most cheap vinyls so i’m not too worried. i don’t appreciate the paper thingy that the record is kept on inside the vinyl cover, it’s not very safe in their. other than that, it’s very clear and i can hear lana’s voice + the instrumentals well! would recommend<3

The delivery for this record was awful the vinyls cover was almost completely destroyed, record is slightly warped but sounds fine. I would recommend getting it in store instead.
