I absolutely LOVE this protein soda. I’ve drank so many different brands that taste disgusting (I.e. overly bubbly, fake flavor tastes, overly sweet, not sweet at all, taste like pure water.) I loved it. Remember the OG “Rockstar” energy drink? Before Pepsi bought them? Tastes a lot like that and I Loved that-was so upset after Pepsi changed the formula- well now I get that taste, a great burst of energy and 10g of protein to boot! I’m here for it! Another user said it tasted like bubblegum. I don’t get that, but my husband said that exactly (so I guess I need to try bubblegum again, it’s been a couple decades). Barebells, why?
I had high expectations for this considering I am a huge fan of Barebells protein bars. However, I was disappointed with this drink for a few reasons. The flavor was pretty bad and tasted more like perfume than a pineapple soda. It also left my stomach feeling a little upset. The macros are decent and the caffeine perked me up but I will not be purchasing again.
