The Beats Solo 3 uses an older Micro-USB charging port, whereas the "USB-A to USB-C" cable you mentioned has a USB-C tip.     Waste of money

    Do not buy! I’ve gotten two of these to use in my car, the first one only charges my phone but can’t connect to CarPlay after only 3 months of purchase, got a second one that returned immediately after trying it on the parking lot and was giving me same problem, bought a Heyday and connected to CarPlay right away

    Do not buy!

    It worked fine for the first week, after that I could hear static while my music was playing, or when the cord would move because I’m getting my phone, it would disconnect from my Apple car play even though it was plugged in.
