A: It's true. It doesn't work with carplay. I specifically bought this one for my car after I switch to 17 pro max. It's just charges but the careplay doesn't work. It works for first 2 days.

No, that cable will not work with the Beats Solo 3. The Beats Solo 3 uses an older Micro-USB charging port, whereas the "USB-A to USB-C" cable you mentioned has a USB-C tip. The USB-C connector is too large and the wrong shape to fit into the Solo 3 headphones.

Carplay Issue
Love this cable, but they seem to have issues with carplay. It used to work fine then became sporatic and now its rare to see carplay pop up. Sometimes it will pop up and then just freeze. We have two of these cables and they both are doing the same thing. Charging works fine. Wish it worked because the length and colors are nice :/

Used this cord daily for Apple CarPlay, but it didn’t last long. Around the 5-month mark it started cutting in and out and eventually stopped maintaining a stable connection. I replaced it with a different brand that works much better. Not worth the money for long-term use.

Do not buy! I’ve gotten two of these to use in my car, the first one only charges my phone but can’t connect to CarPlay after only 3 months of purchase, got a second one that returned immediately after trying it on the parking lot and was giving me same problem, bought a Heyday and connected to CarPlay right away
