Q: They are in the defrosted in the cold foods section of my store. Can I not freeze them when I get home?

A: I have been freezing them when I get home and I heat up in the microwave for 40 seconds and they’ve tasted really good!

These taste nice and are fairly convenient, but they are in no way worth the price. Taste wise they are a 3.5, slightly above average. Price wise they are a negative. Save your money. Make a batch of mini pancakes, throw whatever you want in the mix, and freeze/refrigerate (Krusteaz pancake mix is great, if you don’t want to worry about making them from scratch)

I probably like the waffle better because its a decent portion, and the portion on the pancakes is hard to gage. Also, the waffle is easy to carry on the go, like to work, while the mini pancakes are all in one bag (not portioned). The flavor on both are good, but you have to heat up - they don't taste good cold or room temp. But, they also aren't toasted like other waffles or pop tarts. Overall, they taste ok but I don't think I really want a snack that is that preserved but also needs to be heated up.

They are especially fluffy as if they were just made two minutes ago, and there’s the slightest hint of butter that’s quite pleasant. The chocolate chips were spread fairly and generously throughout the mini pancakes, and I did not find them overpoweringly sweet. However, in comparison to other pancakes, they’re on the sweeter side. My only complaint is the serving size. It’s impossible to follow lol. I found 12 mini pancakes to be a better serving, which means the box does not last long. I really enjoyed them, but I probably wouldn’t regularly buy them due to the amount I eat at one time and the price.
