They were very easy to microwave but I suggest nuking them slightly less than the recommended time and they'll stay soft. Ate it with maple syrup and then with jam and both were delicious.

I made these for breakfast with a group of teenagers after a sleepover heating them up in a pan with a little bit of butter and some cinnamon sugar, and they were easy and great and the kids love them.
