  • A: Ideally, all fresh products (like Fresh Mozzarella) should be consumed prior to their best by date. Sometimes unopened packages of cheese can remain high quality past this date. If the product packaging is not puffed up and the product is not discolored, then open the product and if there is no odor (sour/acidic) then taste the cheese and if the flavor is pleasing the cheese is fine to consume.
