Q: Want to purchase 2 checkered ottomans BUT I'm plan to use for seating regularly. MANY reviews about broken legs is bad Has Studio McGee fixed to make more sturdy? Or will they fix in future runs?

It is really cute, but just fyi, I somehow found this on clearance in my store for $40. It's appalling to me that anyone would pay $110 for this - it is SO lightweight. I had to put rubber stoppers on the bottom because it was not stable enough on our hardwood floors otherwise.

Beautiful color and design, just like the photos. I always try to find furniture and decor that will last in a home with pets, and my cats love to lay on these and don't find the fabric scratch-worthy. Their fur also comes off easily and does not become embedded. These ottomans are sturdy, arrive assembled, and easy to move, and added the perfect depth and complement to a room of lighter neutrals and plants!

This ottoman in the taupe checked pattern is cute, but the details in the description are incorrect. It is NOT 17 inches tall as specified; it's barely over 15" tall, and not suitable for sitting. Very disappointed, returning!

These parson-style ottomans are so stinking cute. The fabric feels nice to the touch, the seams and check patterns align nicely, they are comfortable to sit on, and overall they are excellent quality for the price. I got the "blush" color which is really a begire and ivory buffalo plaid. I am impressed with how sturdy they feel despite being lightweight. And also the fact that I purchased two and the plaid is lined up perfectly on each one. The legs are slightly askew on both but not super noticeable. There are visible staples on the inside of the legs, which doesn't show unless turned upside down, but I felt it looked cheap and unfinished regardless. Otherwise, this is a cute ottoman and very versatile.

I love these. Lightweight and soft and the perfect size, but they are DEFINITELY darker in real life than the picture here. Check the other user generated pictures. More of a beautiful dark mossy green vs a sage green as seen in merchandise pictures.

This ottoman matches my Westelm chair pretty closely. And my husband wanted an ottoman for his side of the couch. So with the two matching, I figured this was a good option. It’s a decent size and a decent height. My one and only complaint and the reason why I took off one star is that it collects every piece of hair and every piece of dust so you’re consistently cleaning it. Other than that, it’s well constructed and a good piece.
