A: no lining same material inside and out.

A: I would line it with something - nothing complicated, just a piece of fabric (an old sheet) that you can smoothe over he inside of the basket, maybe let it drape over a bit if you want.

Perfect Table for a Small Space
The construction of this ottoman is very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised! I purchased this ottoman in the dark brown color as a replacement coffee table. We purchased a new sofa that is larger than our first. We had to look for a different coffee table to fit the tight space. There is perfect storage for a blanket or two. The lid can be used with a rail or without a rail. The rail is nice if you wish to put a decorative item on top. Adds a bit more security if the item tips over. For reference, I am able to fit a large candle, coasters, decorative snow globe on top of the ottoman. I can still comfortably place my feet on the ottoman without disturbing those items. It does sit low to the ground so if you aren’t a fan of lower “tables” this might not be for you. Just make sure you measure!

I saw a similar one by Ikea, but this one was larger and I thoght the closure on the lid was more stury, so I went with this one. I really like it so far. I feel like th coating may be wearing down on the lid, so I'll need to keep a lid on it and adjust my revie if it becomes and issue. athsecally, it looks great and it's sturdu and does slide (I do have it one rug, tough). It hold a goos amount of stuff. I haves sheet and a pillow in in. Some people complained about an odor, but I didn't smell anything.
