Great functionality
I'm very pleased with this table. I'm using it as a charging station beside my armchair. The bottom has a slot that allows you to fit in a power bar. I didn't realize that the slot is large enough to thread the plug through and the hook holds my phone or tablet cord neatly. The table was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. The top shelf does move a little so I'm careful when I put heavy items or glasses with liquids on it.

Good quality
I was very surprised by the quality! The base and second shelf are metal. The one thing I don’t like (and the reason why I gave it 4 stars) is the top shelf can wiggle if pushed on one end or the other even if everything is tightened down. Not sure if mine is just defective or if that’s how they all are. I don’t really mind though. It’s just a little annoying.

Durable but top tilts
Have had this for 3 years and used it as a night table in a narrow space. It is very durable and doesn't have a scratch despite frequent use. Only issue is that the table top doesn't have support on either end and can tilt.

Smart looking and a great idea for tight spaces. I originally bought to go by my front door for keys, etc. I ended up giving it to my Father to go by his favorite chair for his electronics and medications. My only concern is the top shelf isn't wobbles bit - no matter how much I tighten the fasteners. So I don't recommend placing glasses or mugs on it. But I am considering buying another one.

A really well designed product
I bought this for a small bedroom which needed a very narrow sidetable to accommodate the door opening. It has made the bedroom much more practical as it can accommodate a lamp, enabling someone in bed to turn on the light easily, as well as books in the lower storage basket. Although I have other Umbra products, I bought this due to its size. For something so narrow, it is really stable, probably due to the handle, so there is no danger of the lamp falling. It has been so useful that I bought one for a relative whose child's bedroom has the same space issue and they are really delighted.

I love how this piece looks, and it is quite functional for me. I like the materials. Assembly was easy. My only problem is that there is a screw on the inside of the storage area at the bottom that can damage the books I put into it, if I'm not careful. If the screw had a dome top, the problem would have been avoided.

Fits neatly into a difficult small space between a guest bed and a door. Some sort of flat shelf over the bottom would have been more useful than the totally open design. The quality of the materials is adequate, not excellent, but consistent with the low price. I purchased the black model.
