Bernat Blanket Ethereal Stripes Primary

"GRANDMA will you please make me the softest teddy bear in the world? I want it to have pink and purple and maybe some yellow and orange." The next day, this Grandma found this yarn on sale and it was delivered today! I cannot put into words how absolutely perfect this yarn looks and feels. I'm so excited to start working on her bear.

Stunning yarn. I have been using Bernat Yarns for about 17 years since our daughter married an American and is living over there. She found the yarn and introduced me to it. We were visiting and I had seen this on your page and fell in love so she bought me some for Mother’s Dad. What can I say……..THE BEST YARN IN YOUR RANGE. Soft for old fingers , a dream to knit with and the finished blankets are gorgeous to look at. Another 4 are heading this way.

the colors are bold and vibrant...and being bulky #6 so easy to work with. I will be making a sweater...and i think the colors are perfect.

Can’t wait to start my next afghan. This yarn is beautiful.

Everything you would expect from blanket yarn. Soft, cozy and so darn pretty. 4 stars only due to knots in the skeins. I wouldn’t say they were excessive, but there were at least 3 in each skein.

I was disappointed. Thought this would be thicker. And it took longer than expected to get. And impossible to return.

I am currently working on a blanket, and I love how it feels, so soft and squishy. The yarn is easy to work with; the only thing I hate is the knots I'm finding in my cake. My first cake had 4 knots, and the rest of the cakes will determine if I'll buy this again.

The striping if this yarn is so pretty in a corner to corner stitch.

I love the Bernat Blanket Yarn. It always makes quick throws for gifts and they are always a hit. For several years now there is at least one or two friends or family that will ask for one so when I first saw this new Ethereal line on Target’s website? I was REALLY wanting to get my hands on some. Felt VERY fortunate to be able to snag the Sunrise color. It arrived today and I started a blanket after dinner. Family voted, nothing fancy, just crank out a HDC “no holes” blanket. (I have all boys so, that is typical-I won’t ask opinions if I have a “fancy” stitch in mind… ANYWAY …. The color change is great, it’s very soft and works easily on my resin (Furls) hook. This line reminds me a bit more of the now discontinued PREMIER YARNS GUMDROP™ CHENILLE in softness and HOWEVER 🥺when I went to just weave in the bottom that was bothering me a few rows in, the chenille started to just fall off the end. I don’t ever remember that really happening for more than just a few mm before but unlike the Premier Gumdrop Chenille, the thread it’s attached to was very delicate. Usually I’ll just remove the loose chenille and tie off the thread or attach it if I find a knot etc. Not so far on the Ethereal. I am REALLY, REALLY hoping this is a fluke. The ends of the Bernat Blanket yarns chenille not falling off en-mass is one of the things I just LOVE about the line. Obviously I’m going to keep on going but this will be a major bummer if this is normal for this line b/c I was hoping to buy more color ways. *in my photos, I decided to take a photo after I had already tossed most of the fallen chenille.

It is so soft. I love working with the cake style vs the skein. The 'issue' i have is that in my project, I'll be joining 2 cakes; so I wish 1 cake ended differently. That's just for this project, a C2C blanket. Definitly will buy again.
