I paint acrylics. Was just introduced to the "bright" brush. Had purchased one bright brush locally, but it was long. A shorter brush is what I'm used to. So I bought this pack of short bright brushes. Unfortunately there was a major difference in the quality of the bristle in this pack of bright brushes verses the one I previously bought. Very disappointed. Your service and promptness were excellent. I had purchased brushes from you before.

So far, so good. I like the bristles, not too soft, hold a lot of paint. I use w-m oils.

The brushes are great, they don't drag and splinter, just a nice, even flow with my acrylics.
Great brushes for the price!

These are great for oils and thick acrylics. And I love the wide variety of sizes. I was looking to buy only 2 thin brushes but when I saw this set I gave it a try. I'd buy it again.

Very affordable price making it an affordable purchase over and over So far the ones I've used they've held up nicely. The ability to hold and spread paint is good. I would recommend them to friends and for anyone else to try. Im not a professional so for those artists I would say try them and then give your Professional opinion so Novelist will know what to look for in a good brush

I do not like these brushes at all. I don't know if it's the brand or just the type of brush it is, but the bristles fall off every single time I paint with them. I don't recommend these.

The brushes looked great and I bought them at a great sale price. After the second washing the bristles started to separate and frizziest. I've been a Jerry's customer for 30 years, this is the only disappointment I've ever had with their product.

I bought these brushes to fit inside my tacklebox with my acrylic paints because the handles are short. They definitely fit. The one thing I'm a very disappointed with is that some bristles, especially in the round and flat brushes, are not staying in their proper shapes. I get a lot of stray bristle marks when I'm trying to make sharp edges.

These are a quality set for a specific purpose. They are not well shaped, but have good balanced handles. I use them a lot for scrubbing in first layers on Plein air work and I love them for that. The rounds are not round and do not come to a point once the sizing is washed out. The filberts look like they were shaped with a dull razor and several are not symmetrical. They are however, absolutely perfect for what I use them for. I am presently using them on a series of Plein air sketches with casein on a rough handmade paper and I couldn't ask for a better tough job set of brushes. They handle the scrubbing great and the splayed and rough edges are terrific for putting in special textures and blending and layering large areas. Not for detailed or line work, but great for what I am using them for.

Okay, I did not expect great things from these brushes to be honest. I bought them to use with casein paints in a sketchbook for a specific project. They are totally great for that. However, they are not truly filberts. The largest in the set are badly shaped and off center. They truly look like they were put together and someone tried to create a filbert shape with a dull razor. Sorry to be so critical, but they are in now way a true filbert and they splayed badly once the sizing was washed out. That being said, the good points- they have well shaped and balanced handles and for scrubbing in paint they are fantastic. So, be warned if you expect a quality filbert, these aren't it, but if you need a fairly stiff brush to scrub in, or abuse in mixed media they are great.

This is a nice assortment of flat short handled brushes that I'm using with water miscible oils in Plein air. Several brushes shed quite a bit when I first used them, but that has stopped. They are splaying a bit, but not horribly. Well balanced and definitely worth the sale price especially for scrubbing in the initial layout. My guess is that they would not hold up well to the water acrylics, but a good starter set for Plein air oils.
