not very pigmented, chalky.

These paint are no good. Took a lot of effor to "wake" them up and to actually get pigment on paper. Also, once the paint on the paper dried it was chalky and flaky ruining the artwork! Unusable; will be returning!

Horrible low pigment and chalky texture

Great basic watercolor kit. Seems geared towards kids, but the red/pink colors stained my doning table, do not great for toddler or other messy artist use unfortunately.

Love these paints! Great for toddlers. Easily washes off if craft time gets messy!

The colors are so beautiful but it does not behave like watercolor. It’s more like wet chalk and it wiped off after it dried. Boo.

Beautiful colors and a great quality case. My daughter has taken great pride in not mixing the colors in her palette as she normally would do.

I got this set as a Xmas gift for my 8 year old son. We homeschool and do a lot of art combined with our literature studies. This water color set I think is a nice step up from the cheap $1 ones, but not so nice that I would worry he would ruin it prematurely. The mondo brush set that we bought separately was a great addition with this gift as well. We are totally happy with both!

I was getting ready to put these away and they are covered in mold. I’m not sure how long they have been moldy and my kids have used them. Years of kids using other water color brands and I’ve never seen this. Incredibly unsafe.

I love this set! The colors are so good, and the case is durable enough for my four year old which says a lot.

So many colors and I love that it comes with a painting pad. I’ve given these as gifts for a lot of birthdays and it’s always a hit.

Purchased for my 6 year old grandchild. Plenty of color options so he doesn't have to mix to get the color he wants. Good color saturation for a kid's set. Very happy with it.

I purchased this set for my tiny neighbor to use when she comes over. At $10, I wasn’t expecting much. We were able to experiment with color saturation and we had a fun afternoon painting pictures. Because of previous reviews about molding, we used filtered water for painting and I blotted and let the set dry for twice as long as I normally would. It had started to mold by the next day without the lid even on. This leaves me with serious concerns about the manufacturing process and I would not ever recommend these paints for young children. We tossed it. I’d rather let her destroy an older high end set of my own than expose either of us to whatever spores are in these paints.

I bought these at target on a Saturday and used them later that day. The quality was a. terrible. b. no color was coming out. ALSO, THE NEXT DAY, I WENT TO USE THEM AGAIN, AND THEY WERE MOLDY!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!

The paint set was fantastic at first- great quality, vibrant colors, it was a big hit. BUT. After a few weeks of sitting unused, we brought it out and found it covered in mold. So awful! And such a waste. To be fair, I’m sure it was put away with some moisture, but it’s a *water*color set. We have always put sets away wet/damp and never had an issue with any other brand of watercolors molding. Worth noting that we live in a very dry climate and this still happened. I usually love Mondo Llama, but this was a major disappointment.
