35pc Watercolor Paint Set - Mondo Llama™: Non-Toxic Multicolor Craft Paint

Now I know these are not high quality paints. They were ten bucks. But everything that has been painted with these literally has flakes of paint coming off the paper, ruining the picture. It actually feels dusty and rough on the paper, and it smears off if you touch it. Absolute garbage. When mixing colors, you can see the color settling in the bottom of the puddle almost immediately. I don’t know if this specific set has something wrong with it, or everyone else who left high star reviews just purchased them for children to play with. I had a set from Dollar General, and I dropped them and they broke. I grabbed this as a quick fill in until I ordered a better set. The Dollar General set was far superior to this one, and that’s pretty sad.

Nice variety of colors to choose from. Easy to share thanks to the numerous varieties of the same color as well.

Paints are chalky and rub off the paper after they dry.

The colors look really nice BUT they are difficult to paint with as they are really chalky/dry. I'm still using them to work out ideas with tho. Would not recommend or buy again.

Horribly Chalky and Uneven

so fun and convenient! I have been painting all the time. May want to buy some extra brushes, but could make do with the two included. The quality of the paper in the pad is great!

These paint are no good. Took a lot of effor to "wake" them up and to actually get pigment on paper. Also, once the paint on the paper dried it was chalky and flaky ruining the artwork! Unusable; will be returning!

Horrible low pigment and chalky texture

Great basic watercolor kit. Seems geared towards kids, but the red/pink colors stained my doning table, do not great for toddler or other messy artist use unfortunately.

Love these paints! Great for toddlers. Easily washes off if craft time gets messy!

The colors are so beautiful but it does not behave like watercolor. It’s more like wet chalk and it wiped off after it dried. Boo.

Beautiful colors and a great quality case. My daughter has taken great pride in not mixing the colors in her palette as she normally would do.

I got this set as a Xmas gift for my 8 year old son. We homeschool and do a lot of art combined with our literature studies. This water color set I think is a nice step up from the cheap $1 ones, but not so nice that I would worry he would ruin it prematurely. The mondo brush set that we bought separately was a great addition with this gift as well. We are totally happy with both!

Great value and watercolors for my 4 year old she loves them and the quality is nice too , we have fun together with all the different colors

I was getting ready to put these away and they are covered in mold. I’m not sure how long they have been moldy and my kids have used them. Years of kids using other water color brands and I’ve never seen this. Incredibly unsafe.

I love this set! The colors are so good, and the case is durable enough for my four year old which says a lot.

includes a paint pad with 10 thick pages. my 5yo daughter loves it. and all the colors are stunning

So many colors and I love that it comes with a painting pad. I’ve given these as gifts for a lot of birthdays and it’s always a hit.
