A: Are you sure it is 24lb paper? 24 would not be heavyweight, wouldn't even be medium weight. 90lbs would be heavyweight.

I'm not sure why this is labeled as "heavyweight." When I opened it, the pages felt so light and flimsy that I double checked the product page to see if I had received the wrong item. Turns out it's 24 lb paper, which is barely thicker than printer paper. I'll keep it for my kids to draw on because it's a good price, but I certainly wouldn't use it for the painting project that I had purchased it for.

Not heavy weight at all. Definitely not for watercolor painting. My son and I tried watercolor paint on the paper and it shriveled up and began shedding little balls of paper. Do not recommend

I have been looking at different types of paper for different types of projects. I love bristol paper, but it is very expensive and I save it for higher end projects. For the price and performance, this paper can't be beat. Markers bleed through only very rarely, and I have a habit of putting cardstock behind the page as I work. At this price, I do not worry about "wasting paper" on practice. Love it!

My toddler loves drawing and fingerpainting and I figured for $3 this would work. The paper sheets are a decently thick stock and don't bleed through. I have even used some pages for my own painting and stopped buying the expensive stuff from Michaels.
