We designed the top cap with a Blackland innovation - the SlimPost - which allows the Vector to be as compact as possible with the head perfectly centered over the handle for optimal balance and control. Each of the Vector's three pieces is CNC machined from solid stainless steel by us right here in our San Diego shop. After machining, each piece receives multiple rounds of quality control and hand finishing to ensure the highest level of quality and precision. Unique Machined Finish: Because we're so proud of the machining that goes into our razors, our machined finish flaunts the tool marks and patterns left behind in the razor by the CNC machines rather than removing or covering them. To make sure it's beautiful, we painstakingly program the CNC machine path to ensure that a beautiful and consistent finish is left behind. Assembly Instructions: Hold the top cap with the post facing up. Slide the blade over the post until fully seated with the blade held by the two blade tabs. The cutting edge should face toward the thinnest portion of the top cap. Place the base plate onto the top cap, sandwiching the blade in place. Hold the head assembly together while threading on the handle. If the handle is misaligned, loosen until the threads realign before continuing to tighten. Reverse for disassembly.
